Hagiwara Riku x Yagi Yusei

The two who are so like one another were drawn to each other by an odd pull of gravity, just like their roles in “My Beautiful Man”.

The movie following their first acting roles, “My Beautiful Man”, has made the two get closer to one another again. Along with the “Beautiful Moment” article (? I think it is), this is the first reveal of their “feelings about one another”.

“To me, Yusei is something like “a sibling, and sometimes a classmate”. I don’t work out nearly as much and our daily lives are very different from one another, but as we’ve spent time together and gotten to know each other, we’ve found a lot of things we have in common. Something like our favorite manga being the same one, and on set we just happen to be well-synched.. We harmonize well on a lot of things so we feel close, and whenever we’re together the atmosphere is always really nice, I think.

Something that Yusei has that I don’t? Obviously that would have to be beauty and muscles! (haha)

In “My Beautiful Man” Hira really yearns for Kiyoi. For me, I think I am attracted to someone who has something that they devote themselves to. I think it’s because I myself am the type to really go all in on things I like. I don’t care if it’s work or a hobby, but I can really very much sympathize with someone who can give their all to one specific thing and I think we would easily be able to understand one another’s way of approaching things.”

“If I have to explain my relationship with Riku in one expression, it would be “childhood friend”. We haven’t known each other for that long, but our hobbies and sensitivities and our upbringings are very similar, so it feels like we’ve always been together. We do differ when it comes to acting, though. Riku’s ability to analyze and create a character is something that I can’t do, so I really respect him for it. I’m the kind of person who is very straightforward with people I get along with, and I don’t use weird tactics on them. I think I’m the same with Riku, probably?

When I’m bored on my own or feeling lonely, I somehow want to hang out with him and usually message him. As for Kiyoi… Hmm. Even though he is waiting for Hira to come to him, he doesn’t say anything himself, so it’s like his feelings are getting the better of him (haha).

The fact that “My Beautiful Man” has been seen by so many people all over the world makes me really happy. It’s a work that has a lot of nuances to it, especially with the language it uses, so I really hope people outside of Japan will also experience this.”

Well, personally, I do not recommend you fall hopelessly in love. Get a cat if you feel lonely.

Three years ago today, Matteo's season ended.

Okay, I'm going to get a little sentimental for a moment. I came across Druck during Corona, which was around the time when the first Lockdown was here in Germany. I came across this series by chance and at that time I was not well. You don't know what that season meant to me. Matteo got me in the heart so quickly and I really can't put into words how much I love this character. Matteo is like my little baby and I'm not lying when I say I cry so much in his season. Matteo's season grabbed me the most emotionally out of the first generation and I am so grateful to have found this show. Druck was really a little bright spot for me at the time (it still is today).

I loved David and Matteo immediately and I cannot put into words my love for Davenzi. Davenzi is so special to me because this couple cheered me up so much during this time when I was feeling bad. I just lost my heart to Davenzi and I will always love them. I will never get over Davenzi. I will never get over their first meeting, their first conversation, their first almost-kiss, their first kiss or their first night together. I practically fell in love with them while these 2 cute idiots were falling for each other.

Well, whatever.
