This is European everyday people connecting with Ukraine, this is what Europe should feel like everyday. This vote didn't come out of pity, it came out of love, out of a sense of kinship. My boyfriend didn’t go to university until he was 28 because he didn’t feel anywhere near ready when he was 18. He graduated with first-class honours, went on to do a Masters, and is now a history teacher.
