This here is the totally untweaked first page. Unsure whether to actually use color or just add grey tones for when I print it?? The rotation of the guitar is all off, the second panel probably has to be redone. i haaaate perspective, as you can tell. my biggest problem with this comic is setting up the world everyone’s in, meaning i have to actually make an effort to show you where these guys are. such UUGGGHH. i can’t wait to get to the part where everyone’s just yelling at each other :>

This week I came up with a new idea for a series or a graphic novel. It’s about an up-and-coming band that breaks up and the ensuing drama/idiocy/comedy that happens. I’ve jotted down so many stupid ideas. Now the thing is, with my track record, this may be another project that never sees the light of day but it’s still exciting to have. Another thing is I have to brush up on my art skills, not only with drawing instruments and coming up with the way a character looks but dreaded BACKGROUNDS etc. I think it takes most artists at least a year to make a graphic novel so another thing would be the drive to keep at it. But anyway, just a small heads-up that original art is not getting ignored. :>

New comics are happening. It’s a sad/funny goth comic @_@ Basically I’m making fun of my misery. I still may change the style, not sure if I’m really feeling it? But anyway, I hope to update it once a week, starting tomorrow. Yay?

Inktober #3: This one’s way simpler and not based off any photo but I still had Kristeen Young on the brain and she wore a hairpiece similar to this. This character (whoever she is) looks like a cross between Veronica and KY. I need to find brushes or pens with finer points. Also, normally I’d tweak the hell out of any drawing I post online but for Inktober I’m posting exactly what’s on the page, mistakes and all.

Inktober #2: More Kristeen Young! Based off the cover of her album “V the Volcanic”. Yes, that’s a piano-keys dress that she made. I could write a book about how much she means to me. I’m not entirely satisfied with this one because on the actual cover she seems like she’s smiling but I just couldn’t get the expression right. WHAT A MIRACLE THAT I AM ACTUALLY DRAWING WOMEN.

Inktober #1: YES I AM LATE BUT I AM DOING INKTOBER!! I’ve been obsessively listening to Kristeen Young again. She made that creepy and wonderful hands-dress herself. Listening to “Music for Strippers, Hookers and The Odd On-Looker”.

If you listen closely you can hear the echo of his scream even now ...

Sorry I haven’t updated here in forever! So here is a random page from a print comic I did years ago. I was really obsessed with the song title “Death, Destruction And Your Mom” because it’s so ridiculous. (no it’s not real 8)
