grog had perhaps spent just a tad too long cramped up on his couch. he had come across something called a streaming service , & he’d gotten sucked into some superhero movies. he spent the last 20 hours or so ( he’s not sure , he can’t actually count ) by staring intensely at the screen , watching a set of films & saving himself a lot of time by skipping many of the boring parts in favor of the big fight scenes. he found a character named drax fairly relatable & some of the violence underwhelming , but he enjoyed it overall. now though , before he finally heads to bed for a well-deserved nap , he’s taking a walk to stretch his legs , needing it after being inactive for awhile. it’s not long though until he spots the seemingly dead body , & another pair tucked into their own brawl , swords swinging. he grins – this must be what he’s been waiting for. he runs the few blocks back to his place , grabbing a weapon from the wall & returning as quickly as he could with the great axe raised above his head. from the corner of his eye though , he registers the corpse waking up. he looks at the pair once more , finding that they had dropped their blades & are now sobbing into each other’s shoulders. the axe dips a little in his grasp as he miraculously comes to the conclusion that he missed all the fun , not bothering to take in the rest of the scene as he’s filled with disappointment. “ uhhh … so no killing ? ” // @hiddenstarters
the way things had gone lately in Washington had gotten Scanlan annoyed to a point. he hadn’t really gone out of his appartment, prefering to lock himself in than risking one more scar on his back. however, after noticing things seemed to come and pass, he had finally decided to walk out there to see whatever the fuck that was all about. what was his surprise when he noticed one of the members of The Wing standing there, seemingly confused about the lack of a fight. “well, that’s better, isn’t it?” he asked, shrugging. “we aren’t in Tal’Dorei here, friend. killing people in the streets isn’t common practice.” he smiled slightly, giving a pat on the giant’s shoulder. “alrighty then. come, we can go get some booze.”
