“...much of the power and success of “tall tales” comes from exploring the nuances of a dichotomy of “bizarre and relatable.” Indeed, Gia Fagnelli’s tall-tale interpretation perhaps most vividly and ruefully epitomizes this dichotomy, with a piece centering around a cyber-dancer’s Philip K. Dick-esque, synthetic multimedia dreamscape allows the audience member to tune into the cosmic vibrance and splendor of queerness, while also brutally being exposed to the astronomical loneliness and disconnection.”

Every time we start all over and we get fresh eyes on the New Beginning we will realize that Heaven’s Here On Earth, if we’re brave and stubborn enough to live that way, so we’d better just say it say it say it, Tell It Like It Is.  

Gia Fagnelli is astral projecting to Brooklyn on Friday Aug. 4th as a special guest of the Brooklyn Betties! Gia will be playing the role of stage kitten during the show, and at the after party Gia will be floating around as "cigarette girl", private dancer, and gogo dancer with a possible surprise performance!
