It's deep winter where I live, so the city puts out birdfeeders all over town since the birds struggle in the barren wasteland of snow and ice it becomes these months. The biggest problems are for the ducks in the park, who don't fly and can't reach the birdfeeders. So when I was out for a walk today and noticed maybe 40 ducks huddled under one of the birdfeeders I, naturally, got curious, so I got closer to see what the commotion was about. What do I see? There's a fucking raven sitting on the bird feeder and not eating from it, but picking up the seeds with it's beak and throwing them onto the ground below where the ducks were all gathered. And before I walked away a second raven arrived at the birdfeeder and also started throwing down the seeds to the ducks. I'm not exaggerating when I say I damn near burst into tears right then and there–
