No he didn’t. He walked on wrapping paper. Your lizard has no concept of the holiday season and can never help because reptiles don’t feel love.

((ghostlytinker)) “Run for your life!”
“Wait, what?!” Dipper exclaimed, glancing around to find the threat (and the person who had spoken, but mainly the threat).
A young child could be seen actively sprinting towards the young man’s direction, a large stick in her hands. Right behind her was a ghost-like creature, screeching on a way that could only be described as “nails on a chalkboard.” Getting closer to the boy, she grabbed his waist and carried him with her, not losing to much speed.
“That be wendigo, me explain when we safe!”
“Hey!” Dipper protested when the girl picked him up. “I can run myself!” He glanced nervously back at the creature following them. If they could find a safe place for just a few seconds, he could find the page on it in the journal that he knew he saw a couple weeks ago … But first he had to get out of the girl’s grip.
Spotting the Mystery Shack close by, Dipper pointed and yelled, “There! There’s a golf cart there that we can use!”
Lucy picked up the pace, all-but jumping into the cart and putting Dipper in the passenger's seat. A quick hotwire done, and they were off towards town. "That be wendigo, they easy people, we need fire and salt, but me have nothing on me."
The terrifying creature stuck to the trees, moving along side them.

About an hour later, Lucy packed up her books and went to Danny’s room. With her bag on her back, she knocked on the teen’s door quietly. “Danny? Me need to ask you something about something.”
Danny had been sitting on his bed, thinking about the situation. All that he could figure out, though, was that it had to be a vampire. But why him and what they were trying to get out of it, Danny had no idea. He perked up a bit when he heard Lucy’s voice through the door. “What is it?” he asked, opening it for her.
"Me want to show you something." The albino casually walked in, only waiting for the door to be closed to pull out her "gift." She handed him a bag of a strange blue powder, some sparkles visible. "It not normal for vampires to sleep eat, so it must be something else. This stuff can keep vampires out of you room, but you need to mix with you own blood so it not hurt you. "
Redhawk realized his failing vision caused things to morph, so he started to play with morphing software and thought, “What if I morphed an image onto itself?”
“It’s an artistic expression of the confusion I go through with my vision loss…
Not enough data getting sent to the brain, and it tries to fill in the blanks with false information, so you can’t trust what your eyes or brain are telling you.”

Stan had fallen asleep in a chair he had pulled up beside the couch. He hadn’t meant to fall asleep, but the girl seemed to be taking her time waking up. Soon his snores filled the air. However, he startled awake when the girl screamed.
“Gah!” He fell off the chair to land in a heap on the floor.
The girl was spouting some other language that Stan did not know how to translate. He knew some Spanish from his time in a Columbian prison, but if you tried to talk to him in any other language (other than English, of course), all you would get were blank looks.
“Lady. I don’t speak whatever you’re speaking.” He said. “I don’t suppose you speak English?”
The child blinked at him a couple times, his words registering in her brain after a few seconds. The language perked up a bit of familiarity, though not as much as one would want. “Me think me do… ” The words were a bit disjointed, the albino trying to have them flow together properly. While quiet and light, her voice was a little hoarse, as if she had been doing a fair bit of running beforehand. “ Sorry… Who you be? You know who me be? ”
Stan frowned at the woman. Amnesia. Wasn’t that just the icing on the cupcake. Ford wasn’t going to like this. They would have to do without Stan until he figured out who this girl was.
“The name’s Stan Pines.” He said, sitting back down in his chair. “I don’t know who you are. I found you lying out in the yard, with a big ol’ head injury.” He gestured at her head, which was still bandaged.
Curious, the child lightly touched her bandaged wound, hissing at the pain it caused. She took a moment to examine her tiny body, comparing it to Stan's. "Me very pale...very skinny... But you have m-m-muscles. Are all people different?" Her lack of overall knowledge was apparent, the confused child counting her fingers. "Thank you... That be right words?"

protectorofthefords A small child wanderd a nearby cabin, each step a little more disjointed from the other. She wore a pure white dress, resembling a hospital gown upon further inspection. The child’s hair and skin matched her attire, pure white blotched with drops of crimson. There was a large wound on her head, accompanied by a bunch of small scratches all over her tiny body. Within a couple steps into the strangers property, the child suddenly collapsed, her eyes groggy from the overall pain and was dealing with. Crimson blood staining the soft grass.
Stan stepped out of the Shack, twirling to keys to the Stanleymobile on one finger. He was intending to go to the bar for a beer, and then pick up some groceries on the way home. However, all thoughts of going anywhere dropped from his mind as he spotted a young girl lying face-down on the grass beside the driveway.
He dropped his keys as he ran over to the girl and rolled her over. He hissed when he saw her head wound, but at least she was still breathing, and it didn’t look like she had any other wounds.
Carefully, he lifted her into his arms and carried her into the house. “Ford!” He shouted as he laid her down on the couch. “Ford! Get up here, would ya!”
He didn’t wait for his brother, but rather gather the medical supplies and began to take care of the girl’s wound. Thankfully, it didn’t need stitches, head wounds just bled a lot, but he swabbed it with antiseptic, and put a bandage on it, just to be safe.
Now all there was, was to wait until she woke up.
The child groaned, cracking her eyes open in the bright light. Her breath hitched in her throat as the pain spiked in her head, making her jolt upwards. “Ai!”
Taking in a couple breaths, she managed to calm herself down enough to take in her surroundings.
”[Where am I? What are all these colours?]" Her words were unrecognizable to most, a completely alien language to most of America’s populous.
Taking notice of the older stranger, she tilted her head to the side, keeping surprisingly calm given the situation. “[Who are you? I like your colours.]"

Everyone talks about Supernatural, but I think we’re forgetting the original way to get rid of demons:
ghostlytinker:
She nodded subtly, keeping her smiling face before whispering back to him. “Hold on until lesson over, then me try and see what me do.”
Danny nodded. He really hoped they’d be able to figure out this situation before any real damage was done. And by the looks of the rats, somebody was out to get him. A vampire. “I’ll see you after lessons, then,” he said, trying to keep the worry out of his voice.
About an hour later, Lucy packed up her books and went to Danny's room. With her bag on her back, she knocked on the teen's door quietly. "Danny? Me need to ask you something about something."
Always.
Fun principle behind this: you can recognize sounds very easily, but it’s much harder to reproduce them. Think of all the sounds you know the meanings of: car alarms, the music introductions to programs, etc. You can identify them and what they mean very quickly. However, learning to make those sounds is much harder. The basic reason (and this is very basic) is that your ears are designed to pick up different sounds, so it’s only the audio part of your brain that has to learn what each means. By contrast, to make a sound face, tongue, vocal, and memory all have to work together.
same with me and Chinese. i used to speak fluently with my grandparents but now i can understand them i just cant respond back in the same language.
