A Butch/Henry edit that I was originally planning to make last month but decided to wait on, since I wasn’t sure how I wanted to mix a show screenshot with a comic panel.
It’s not a favorite edit of mine, but it did come out better than I expected it to.
I'm watching the game show The Floor right now, and look at this AI image they used for the Scooby Doo clue from the 3rd episode of Season 5.
Like, why did they do that? They used offical art for all of the other clues. Did they not have the rights or something? It was just so weird to see.
I wonder what Butch would do if he got injured. Would he attempt to hide it [only for things to escalate if the injury is too painful] or would he begrudgingly admit he got injured? Butch seems like the type to keep working no matter what.
I agree that Butch is the type to power through any injuries he might get. I don't think he would try to hide it per se, but instead just ignore any pain he was in. In a "it's not that bad I can still move it" sort of way.
This would mainly be due to his independent nature, with a little bit of ego mixed in. Like, he doesn't want to seem like he can't do his job, or he doesn't want to look like a guy who makes his teammates do things he wouldn't be willing to do himself, or something of that nature.
I can also him being kinda of in denial of getting injured at first. He's gotten out of so many other dangerous situations without a scratch him, so him legitimately getting hurt could throw him off.
Whenever I imagine potential "Butch getting hurt" story, I picture it with a more serious injury that he can't simply power through, like a broken limb or something else that would need hospitalization. Really force him and the other characters to deal with him being out of action, you know? In that kind of situation, my initial thoughts are that Butch would start and stay upset about it, Mr. Socrates would alter the mission to replace them with other agents, and the other Sundance Kids, while kinda miffed that they seemingly aren't trusted enough to complete the mission, wouldn't really complain because they simply do not care about it has much as Butch does/would not be willing to go to the same lengths he does, especially since he just got hurt doing so.
I'm going to be participating in a Femslash event over on my OC blog next month, and it made me notice that of all of my canon/OC ships are F/F except for one F/M one.

Debbie/Velma edit with lyrics from AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long". Used this as a reason to acknowledge the different crossovers between these two, mostly.
Originally I was going to include the other lyrics these two lines go with ("She was a fast machine/she kept her motor clean" and "Had to cool me down to take another round", respectively) and make it a larger edit, but I liked this condensed version better.

Scooby Doo Issue #50 “Big House Brouhaha”
Re-reading “Big House Brouhaha”, and I’d like to read/write a fic set during the off-screen scenes where the gang calls the other groups for help with the next step of the plan.
I think it’d be neat to know who each member of the gang chooses to call (do they pick the same groups that “captured” them, do they pick another group, etc.), how the other groups react (are they distrustful, do they trust them right away again, etc.), and so on and so forth.

This episode was on today and my verdict: it's bad and there's nothing in it that isn't present in other, better Scooby episodes. Go watch those instead of this one.
