I think a lot about how khoa sees crime fighting and how he perceives art, he has such an unique way of perceiving things and such a unique way to try and connect it to emotions. even if he cant quite feel love the conventional way he can appreciate a good partner.

crime fighting is the only thing that keeps him going, he's driven by the need to be the best. sharing it with others is clearly important to him, id say it's HIS way of intimacy, all things considered... rhea, angel breaker, catman, all of them fought by his side at some point… so i find it interesting that he literally had a life planned out for him and bruce, a life where they fought crime together, a life where they changed the world.

Doesn’t that show that he cared? dare i say loved? his love may be different, but god knows it's still love.
