- kihyun was, indeed, sick as well. he wasn’t sick from the start, but during the story he was very careless (and a little self-destructive) and he did get sick - which is why he also needed the cure, and why he threw up the black oily thing. that was the sickness. i’m so subtle.

- and changkyun didn’t tap into his witch powers. he did have some remnants of his ~witchery~, one of them being his “luck” which jooheon mentioned once or twice during the story. other abilities he seemed to have had were more related to the curse than to his witchcraft - seeing the ghost of his former self, being able to “read” hyungwon’s emotions, etc etc
