Customer Service Woes

We hate you because you always find some reason to come behind our counter.

We hate you because this is corporate and we are not going to change the price no matter how many times you throw an offer.

We hate you because you think you can do our jobs better than we can, yet you’re impatient and lazy.

We hate you because when you’re waiting in line, we can see you keep checking the time.  If you were in such a hurry to be somewhere, you should have done your shopping earlier.

We hate you because you ask for more of a discount when you’re already getting a second, equally priced item, completely free.

We hate you because if something doesn’t scan the first time you “joke”  it must be free.

We hate you because you refuse to hang up your phone while we wait on you, then have the nerve to call us rude.

We hate you because you show up to check out like a pig, eating and drinking products before you’ve even paid for them.

Pet peeve: When I’m looking for the produce number and the customer tells me what kind of fruit/vegetable it is.

being a cashier means that according to the customers, you either know every single thing about everything or you are clueless and incompetent and can’t be trusted regarding anything
