Pick a color scheme
Decide less, do more: this is part of a series of posts is about doing more, by making fewer decisions. Because if you spend less time deciding what you’re going to do (and how you’re going to do it), you can spend more time actually getting stuff done.
We all want to look good when we get dressed, but doing so can require a lot of decisions about style, colors, accessories, etc. A way to minimize the amount of time you spend on choosing what to wear is to pick a color scheme for your clothing. Some people do this for their entire wardrobe, while others will use this trick as way to deal with color blindness.
Personally, I like to do it when packing for a trip. Not only does it take less space when you only need one pair of black or brown shoes. But I especially love that I don’t need to think when getting dressed because no matter which combination of pants, socks, shoes, shirt and belt I pick out of the suitcase, I know it all matches.
