Hey, first of all the hate that you are getting is hurting my heart and I am very sorry, but I wanted to ask you what is your opinion on the breakdown Matty had during a performance in Boston 2 years ago, when George literally had to carry him off stage afterwards. And the fans that were cheering while he was obviously feeling unwell and desperate? I hope the hate doesn't get to you, lots of love xx

I have no problem with criticizing my faves, I just don't think that Matty did anything that should be criticized. First he styled his hair and then said what was true and even though it was quite harsh it's just the way he is sometimes, and yes, he changed and we all (including the girl that talked to him about her parents for two hours) should respect that because that's what he deserves as a human being. Just my opinion, have a nice day.

I'm annoyed people are getting so frustrated with you when u are completely correct, that we should always criticise our faves when they need it otherwise they just become idols and that's not healthy not just for us but them either xx

No offense, but you said that his behaviour is similiar to Trump in the 'I don't care what people think' way. I get you, I am mad at Matty myself for acting like this but this is just a bit over the top in my opinion. But I am really sorry when I see all the hate that you get for expressing an opinion and being in fact right, stay strong.

It just seems really funny how all the fans are always talking about Matty speaking his mind and how cool it is that he doesn't really care what people think and is so honest and now they are getting butthurt when he's being nothing but extremely honest with everyone.

Hey, wtf is going on lately with the 1975? Like the fans (and sorry, especially you) are picking up on every little thing the guys do or say. Matty had his hair done and know he's the bad guy, he doesn't wanna talk to his fans for two hours about their problems and suddenly he's a douche, have you cosidered that maybe he's just tired of that shit because he's human too?
