Alastor is DUMB
Yep, that's the fact. Let's see: 1) He made a deal with Rosie expecting to be the strongest demon in Hell but ended up being her obedient pet unable even to fix his own staff. So all his new life in Hell was serving his mistress and searching for a way to break the deal he made with such BIG hopes :)
2) He cruelly mocked Vox just for fun and thus turned his devoted fellow into an obsessed enemy who set the goal to destroy him. Did Alastor really want this to happen or he just was talking without thinking?
3) He decided to face Adam and was REALLY shocked to be wounded by angelic strike. Did he ever notice that demons in Hell were killed by angelic blades, or maybe he didn't have the time to pay attention to this fact?
4) He was so desperate to get free of his pet position that he decided it would be the better choice to give himself at Vox's disposal. And this fact let Vox spread his influence over other overlords, who now believed in his strenght. Due to his growing power, Vox was able to create a weapon enable to destroy his rival, and he nearly did that. Alastor was defeated and crawling on the ground like a worm. And all this was a result of his own actions.
It's so funny to see some people think he's a cunning plan maker, but all we see is his failures. He's just lucky enough to get out of this more or less untouched due to the help of others. I'm pretty sure THIS is the reason he constantly blames Vox for using others, it's just a projection of HIS own weakness and inability to get to the top by himself.
You know, the more I think about Vox and Alastor's relations, the more I feel pity for Vox. Long time ago he fell in love for the first time in his life (including time on Earth). He was so sincere, so open for those new feelings, he really wanted to make smth for his chosen one. It was the first time he'd ever thought about somebody else but himself. And what did he get after his honest proposal? A fatal blow which broke his heart.
I still can't get why Alastor was so cruel to his pal (as he called Vox). It seems they were really close for a few years, spent time together, even made a memory picture. There was no single reason for Alastor to mock Vox so hard, to demean and humiliate him. It was a real shock for Vox, he couldn't understand Alastor's behavior and that's why he couldn't forget that offense. All his life became poisoned with his rage, resentment and desire for revenge. It makes me feel sorrow to think that just one moment in his past turned him into an obsessed man with only one goal to destroy the person he loved. It's a very hard and sad story :(((
Just watched the final episode of Season 2 and wanna say that I TOTALLY love Vox's brutal image in this scene. It seems he jumped the shark with his rage and blinding wish to get rid of his rival. He's so desperate, so full of darkness, like he knows there's no other way out of all this sh*t. You can almost feel this tough tension, some vibes he's spreading out of the screen. Absolutely stunning! And yes, I can say that Vox is PERFECT in the role of villain, he's charismatic, he's brave and all his performances are brilliant. I just hope he'll have his chance to get back…
Epic picture for an epic moment with ascending Viktor. Just love how magnificent he looks there.

Poor Viktor was destined to be merged with Arcane. Is this a bit… erotic?
Arcane S2. What the heck was that?!
Just watched Arcane Season 2 and now I'm in awe and frustration at the same time. Try to explain myself and start with awe :)
Viktor is just magnificent! This character was my favorite since his first appearance on screen (he's definitely my type) and when he became an antagonist (and still had his own moral principles) I was totally ecstatic! I was eager to see where he would go and even predicted that he was that mage who gave Jayce the rune. But the end of the series left me with one big question: what the heck was that?!
Yes I'm talking about the plot twist that it was Viktor who sent Jayce back to stop him. But with that understanding all Jayce's previous actions lose their meaning. He said "I won't fail you!" but what he did was quite the opposite.
Let's start from the beginning. And I mean the very beginning, the 1st universe, where Original Viktor somehow got the Arcane by himself as there was no little Jayce with a rune yet. We only know that the chain of events brought Viktor to that point he wished to cancel all his deeds. That’s why he came back in time and gave Jayce the rune. With this action he created a whole new universe and continued to make this again and again for unknown reason.
We can explain his words "in all timelines, in all possibilities ony you can show me this" that Original Viktor somehow gained information from every universe he created by giving Jayce different runes. If this means that Jayce's tries to "show him" were successful then why Orig.Viktor kept giving him the runes? I don't know, but this explains the fact that he sent Jayce back exactly in that time where his past self was capable of reading people's minds but still understanding, empathic and ready for conversation. He invited Jayce to his place and didn't even try to protect himself when Jayce prepared to attack as he couldn't believe his friend would hurt him. All Jayce needed to do - just to open his mind and let Past Viktor read his memories. And what he did? Just blew him away without a single word!
I can't find any reasonable explanation for this action. Maybe Jayce lost his mind after all he went through and let his rage blind himself? But no, he knew exactly what he was going to do - he remembered his mission and repeated "I won't fail you". So we should suppose he thought that he would stop the future by killing Viktor at that point? If so, then why he went into the palace and told everybody that the fight was lost? And later, on the roof, he stood in the same pose his dead parallel self did, preparing to die. If there was no Ekko with his wonder device, the final would be the same! Much worse, Jayce’s shot was exactly the reason why Viktor was so upset, got poisoned blood and immediately started his "evolution". So it was Jayce who caused the chain of events he tried to prevent! And if he really thought that he "won't fail" Viktor with those illogical actions, then he just didn't understand the meaning of that phrase.
But you know what is more illogical? The fact that literally NO ONE blamed Jayce for this. I mean, he came and made things worse, because of him Vi and Jinx lost the only hope to bring their father back, and moreover, Isha and many other people died in a battle he caused. And everybody just paid no mind to that?
I mean, the sisters wanted to return their father so much, then Jinx lost the person who made her happy again, and they didn't say a word to a man who broke all their hopes?? If they couldn't reach him, why Katelin didn't do this for them? But no, everybody just pretended that nothing happened and kept discussing the battle Jayce started.
All of this is beyond my understanding
Here's a new illustration for my huge fanfic which I've been writing for 6 years. Ford was shot by bounty hunters and Bill tries to save him after burning the hunters.
BillFord is canon
This was the title of a post I made on my previous tumblr account 6 years ago (acc was banned for unknown reason and I can't see my posts). Now, with the kind help of @decaying-dimension who gave me HD scans of the Book of Bill pages, I want to make a new summary of the subject.
You know, a month ago I was really surprised to see all those BillFord posts. Like people only realized it just recently even though there were plenty of hints in the series and especially in Journal 3. Back then, when I tried to say something about Bill and Ford relations, I got only hate and accusations. So now I feel a sense of triumph as all my thoughts were correct. Now let's see why we can say BillFord is in fact a canon.
Ford's feelings. Well, this point is so obvious that I'm really amused some people still can't take it right and keep talking about abuse, manipulations, etc. Yes, Bill used Ford to achieve his goal and then broke his heart, but those two years before his betrayal were the happiest years of Ford's life.
Ever since his childhood, Ford was teased for his fingers and had such deep communication issues that he gladly moved to a secluded place in the woods. He wished to someday become famous and show all his abusers that they were wrong. He wanted to be a hero, not a freak. He needed attention, admiration, recognition, and Bill gave him just that.
Ford called himself a Cipherholic, and that he was. Just think about a guy who turned his own house into a shrine. He was so obsessed with Bill that he collected every Bill artifact he could find, and in addition, surrounded himself with glass pyramids and dozens of hand drawn portraits all around his study.
Some people said that this wasn't a romantic feeling, just a religious one, but you know what? If you don't love someone with all your heart, you wouldn't be eager to see him in your dreams, you wouldn't reflect about the complex fates that brought you and him together, you wouldn't choose him over your only loyal friend. (Speaking of fate, in the Book of Bill there's a picture of baby Ford reaching for a yellow triangle as a sign that their destinies will be tied together) My, Ford even saw Bill's image in the stars! This was the most romantic thing in the whole Journal 3.
Ford trusted Bill so much he let him into his body and mind, and this is the highest level of trust a man could ever give. Bill was his beloved Muse, his sunshine, the center of his life, and he didn't want to hear anything bad about him. Ford ignored all the warnings like some blind lover and even kicked Fiddleford because he trusted Bill more than his old friend.
So now we clearly see that Ford didn't consider Bill just some kind of deity, but his partner, his closest friend, his beloved.
I won't speculate if there was something between them during "karaoke night" as I'm sure in this case Ford wouldn't behave the same way he always did (or maybe he just forgot the ending of that night :)) but the whole picture of them drinking together and the excitement Ford felt at that moment... well I'm sure he wouldn't mind if "one thing led to another" to its peak ;)
Bill's betrayal wounded Ford very badly and I can understand why he vowed to take revenge on him. He spent 30 years seeking information about Bill and building a weapon capable of destroying him, so we can say the most part of his life was dedicated to Bill in one way or another. Even now that he's reunited with his family, he can't get rid of his thoughts about Bill, and I doubt he will ever be able to.
Bill's feelings aren't so obvious as he's a hardened liar and pretender. That's why most people saw only one side of his personality, but even 6 years ago there were some hints of his inner thoughts and motives. The Axolotl said Bill was pretending to be happy, but deep inside he missed his home that he couldn't even return to. Hirsch also said that he used the concept of Flatland (a book written by Edwin Abbott) where triangles were one of the lowest classes, so this was another reason for Bill to seek power and to show others they were wrong about him (just like Ford).
Now in the Book of Bill we clearly see him having issues after destroying his home dimension. Even though he tries to deny his guilt, these thoughts are torturing him, and "the ghosts of his family are haunting him still” (a code from TBOB). He even called himself a monster while talking to Ford! There's no way such an egomaniac would call himself that if he didn't realize he deserved this. After his break up with Ford, he went to the bar to get drunk and forget, but he couldn't. He said Ford was his pawn, but in fact, Bill needed Ford more than Ford needed him.
After losing his home Bill didn't find a place where he could be happy again. He gathered some interdimensional scum around him and tried to numb his pain by torturing and abusing inhabitants in other worlds. He spent trillions of years doing this, but he still didn't get what he wanted - to be needed, to be loved. And he got all of this from Ford.
Ford's sincere adoration and devotion made Bill feel something new, something so important and necessary, but also something he didn't know how to deal with. He was scared, he never thought that he was able to make such a deep connection to another person... to a _mortal_ one. His phrase "handcuffing your happiness to a mortal is like gluing yourself to a time bomb ‘till death do us part’” is the saddest thing in the whole book. Bill tried to convince himself that their breakup was the right thing because these thoughts were really unbearable for him.
But despite all of this, he tried so hard to get Ford back. He invited him twice, and the first one was right after Ford's attempt to kill him. Moreover, it was during that moment Bill was sure he became the ruler of Earth and didn't need Ford's assistance anymore, so he asked him to join just because he wanted Ford to be with him.
What he didn't understand was that Ford hated him for all the pain he caused him and his family. For Bill it was just entertainment, so he couldn't understand why Ford was so upset. But I think there's a potential opportunity for both of them if Bill finally finds courage to admit his mistakes and to improve himself. He just has to look deeper inside himself and allow his remorse, his pain and his true wishes to take place in his soul. And I'm sure if he sincerely asks for help, Ford wouldn't turn his back on him.

There're two greatest mysteries of all Gravity Falls lore:
1. How in the universe Bill could confuse Ford with his brother? They have so many differences in appearance that it couldn't be hidden just by changing clothes. Moreover, Bill had Ford beside him for several days and even reassembled his whole body, so he should've known every inch of him!
2. How on Earth Dipper couldn't have known about Ford's past with Bill if that was written in the Journal 3 in plain text!
And if I can try to explain the 1st point by saying that Bill was too self-confident to think someone would ever try to cheat him (especially Stan who was considered as a pathetic looser even by his own brother) and had no doubt Ford would surrender to him, then the 2nd point is stil beyond my understanding.
Look at the screen in S1E19 - there's a page where Ford calls Bill "one of the friendliest and most trustworthy individuals" and "a true gentleman"! And this text isn't painted over, just crossed out and it's very easy to read.
So tell me why Dipper didn't even ask himself why the Author praised Bill so much? And later, in Ford's study, he was really shocked when learned their history, but he should've known all of that before since he thoroughly studied the Journal!
IDK how about you but for me it's the most illogical thing in the show.
Young Ford and his Muse
Well, now we know those 2 years with Bill were the happiest time of Ford's life. He was so excited, so passionate, so full of hope. He lived in a wonderful dream and wished it would last forever...
My first BillFord fanart… an illustration for my fanfic "Demon's beloved toy" It's a pity I didn't have this Book of Bill back then, I could use its ideas for more fan pictures You can get this picture in HQ at boosty (/genisc)
Well well.. Now, with this new Book of Bill I can say that I've had the right point about Bill & Ford relations all the time!
I remember many years ago I tried to convince others that there WAS something more than hate and abuse, and that Bill wasn't just a psychopath but had more complicated feelings and very special attitude towards Ford. Here on tumblr I had another account (now blocked for some reason) and posted my thoughts about all the situation but received only hate and accusations. So now I can tell all of those stubborn fools: I was right and you just have to eat this XDDD
And I'll post my old BillFord fanart here too :)
Vienna blood - Max/Oskar teasing moments #2
Season1 Episode2
*Oskar: Thank you for inviting me. Max: Well, it wouldn't be a proper party without you.
Max, do you really think your engagement party wouldn't be proper without Oskar? So who did you get engaged to anyway? XD
And if you think he was just joking, then soon he clearly proves his words with his deeds. Just look: Oskar leaves and Max stands there so lost that his fiancee decides to let him go. Max immediately rushes after Oskar with a happy smile. Clara, I think you're a saint if you can tolerate this.
*Commissioner: Ah, I see Dr Liebermann is consulting again. Your lucky charm, Rheinhardt.
You get right to the point, Commissioner :) Oskar should keep his lucky charm as close as possible.
*Oskar: I don't think I could've survived another minute without your presence.
Watch your words, Oskar! Max may decide this is a guide to action ;)
*Clara: Max? Isn't that your inspector? I didn't realise there were three of us. That's going to make it awfully difficult when we choose dance partners.
Don't worry, Clara, they will dance together in another episode XD
Actually they both look gorgeous at this party, especially Oskar, who for once dressed decently and looks like a gentleman :) Now he and Max look like a true partners (in every meaning ;)) And these gazes… That's why I say the screen is melting :)
*Scene with a glass of champagne. Watch their hands :) Max hands his glass to Oskar. The inspector immediately drinks from it, then returns it to Max a couple of scenes later.
Here's a question: why poor Oskar didn't get his own glass? What kind of beggarly party is this where a man has to drink from his partner's glass? :)
*Max: I don't trust von Bulow. You should be there to step in. Oskar: I spend my life saving your skin. Why should today be different?
Oskar, you met the doctor just recently! Or maybe you no longer remember your life before this meeting?
To be continued..

Vienna blood - Max/Oskar teasing moments
It really amazes me that there is so little fan works for such a wonderful series as Vienna Blood. The series has been airing since 2019, season 4 is currently being filmed, but few people are talking about it online. This is very strange cause the series can boast of a wonderful atmosphere, unusual detective stories and, most importantly, great acting. This is especially true for the main couple - psychoanalyst Max Liebermann and inspector Oskar Rheinhardt.
Just from their first appearance these two show such chemistry that the screen melts with emotions! Moreover, in almost every episode there are small teasing moments that make you look at the partners’ relationship from a different angle ;) Of course, it’s unlikely to come to a pairing, but I just want to show you something that might have escaped your eyes. Enjoy :)))
Let's start from the beginning. Season1 Episode1
*Oskar saves Max from an attacker for the first time (later he will have to do this constantly).
Just look at this scared boy and this strong, dominant man. Definitely a “damsel in distress” scene :) The most interesting thing is that Max is quite capable of fighting back on his own (a couple of times in the series he even attacked his opponents himself), but usually he prefers to entrust his rescue to the hands of Oskar.
*An interesting scene - Oskar lies down on the couch as the victim lay, Max immediately sits down next to him, although there is no need for this. He just wanted to do it, that's all.
*Max: People will start to think we like each other.
Oh yes, Max, that's exactly what we thought :) And since you said it yourself, it seems to be true.
*Scene at the end. Just look how happy they are! Max never smiles at anyone other than Oskar with such delight. Oskar generally smiles at Max only.
That's all for now. To be continued ))
Rezo is one of the two my most beloved and respected characters. I can't hold back the tears thinking about his cursed fate which made him share his soul with the Lord of demons. He has spent so many years in fruitless attempts to heal his eyes and eventually fell into despair and let the darkness fill his heart. But despite Shabranigdo's influence he has managed to preserve his good side and helped to destroy the Demon lord. And I like to think he was able to survive again, now with a new plan to split his and Shabranigdo's souls and finally get rid of the curse.
