evan headcanons - he sleeps with stuffed animals still. jared makes fun of him for it but we all know damn well that jared still sleeps with stuffed animals too - he’s really good with kids. like, really good. sometimes to fulfill service requirements for school he goes to work w his mom and spends time w the kids on the pediatric floor. he HATES hospitals but he would die for those kids - evan sleeps w his windows open at all times of the year. hurricane-force winds? check. sub-zero temps? yup. he likes the sounds and the fresh breeze. plus his meds make him overheat constantly so what’s inhumanly cold to others is a perfect temp for him to snuggle into his blankets - he barely ever sees his dads family, but when he does their little yappy dog is always around. the dog is RUDE and hates literally everyone except for evan. evan takes a certain pride in this. - he keeps so many half filled notebooks in the drawers under his bed. he likes to write descriptions of nature to calm himself down; it kind of works as meditation for him. heidi knows the writing is there but she’s not one to snoop. - when he’s anxious (always) evan has trouble eating. to combat starvation he drinks a shit ton of chocolate milk. - before his dad left the hansen fam went to disney world & when he met mickey evan cried. there’s a photographic record. jared also will not let this go
