The vampire was shaken from his thoughts, however, a mere moment later when Guren opened his mouth to bring up questions he might have. He didn’t answer right away, however, as he considered what kinds of things he would like to know about the man.

“Nothing at all. Do I look like that kid’s babysitter to you?” he turned his head away. It wasn’t the best answer, but he was telling the truth. “I didn’t come here to follow him, if that’s what you’re thinking. I happened to get a letter from this school. You got one too, did you not?” well, it was part of his reasoning, at least. Guren disliked spilling the beans right away, even if he did say he’d answer this boy’s questions. If Mikaela wanted to get anything out of him, the vampire would have to try harder than going the simple route.

“Hm? Is a child like you really talking to someone as great as me~?” If she was gonna end up at this human thing called a ‘festival’, specially with this human, she deffinitly was going to amuse herself by being rude.

“I think I get it,” he replied after a moment’s consideration. “Something like this will be easy for me, but if that’s what you’re testing, then why am I carrying this?” He lifted the rock for emphasis. It couldn’t be that he saw this as some kind of endurance test, as well? Was there even a point to something like that, given Mika’s vampire traits? He wondered, but apparently Guren saw some value in it, whatever that may be.

“If you’re ready, you wouldn’t be asking so much.” he sighed. Students were so obvious now-a-days, where were the exciting ones. He was glad this was a supernatural school; otherwise he’d be bored as hell in a normal one. No way would he be able to teach science. If it weren’t for this school, he probably wouldn’t have obtained that rock.

“Since we’re walking together, do you have any questions outside of this test that you have for me?” might as well start a little conversation, not that Guren was good at it in the first place. He was usually the type to sit back and watch, but this was going to be a long walk. He wanted to cut back his urges to attack this kid.

He did take out his crossbows a bit late, as Rei had been distracting him and pulling him along. He was then attacked by something unexplainable, and didn’t get much time to react. Luckily, an educator had been nearby. Not that he wanted or needed the help. If he had just had one more second, then he wouldn’t of had any trouble. Still, he was grateful for it.

Grasping the stone in both hands now, Mika raised it to eye-level and studied it for a moment before shifting his focus back to Guren, who had started speaking again. What was the objective here? He had to walk the distance of a track field while carrying a stone? A fairly heavy stone, considering, sure, but still not a problem for him. More than that, what was the point? He couldn’t really see one, though maybe there was some hidden objective… Or maybe he was just the kind of teacher that liked to needlessly work his students. Regardless, it wasn’t like Mika would pitch much of a fuss over such a simple task.

“…Leading the way, for one. Then making sure you don’t pass out, for another.” as he spoke, he lifted up each individual finger, showing two at the end. He then lifted up a third one. “I’m going to see how well you can hold back. Up ahead, it will reek of blood. A mixture of blood, but it’ll lead to one source.” he then pointed at himself, indicating that he was the source. “You’re going to try your best to resist. I’ll just keep you company along the way.” that rock Mika was holding was obviously not going to help at all, either. Guren had this all planned out.

He took off his gloves and jacket, left them there, then continued to lead the way again. If this training worked, then Guren planned to do this with the other vampires. He didn’t want them losing their cool and biting people. If anything, Mika was probably the sanest… but Guren couldn’t believe it. He shook his head, trying to get rid of creeping himself out.

“It should be bothering you. Aren’t festivals more fun with someone?” now that he thought about it, did he himself have someone to go with? Guren was busy that day, though, but that was beside the point.

Fushimi huffed in his seat and groaned. Feeling a little uncomfortable now, he adjusted his position in his seat, still looking at that pathetic excuse for a teacher. Why did he have to be so obsessed with detention anyway? Was that his speciality? Did he get an erection over them or something? Heh. He watched as he flipped through the papers and watched them get stuck on his desk. He just looked at them.

“… A delivery? What sort of detention are you giving me now?”

“Keep up that attitude and I’ll have you hold buckets.” he tried to restrain himself from having to punch this guy. He was so used to doing it that it became an instinct. It’s a wonder how long he’ll last from holding himself back.

“You get to deliver these to certain students and staff. Even if they’re not around, you can leave it in a spot they can see it. Is there a problem?” what the whole point of this assignment was, he wanted Fushimi to figure that out on his own.

Mika sat in one of the seats closer to the door, his eyes idly tracking the teacher standing at the front of the room, though his expression didn’t do much to mask his disinterest in whatever Guren was prattling on about. His presence here was but an arbitrary, temporary thing, as he had been part of the infiltration team of the vampires, who had picked up an awareness of the school and had then decided to scout it out to see what kind of stronghold the humans might be creating. For his own part, however, Mika had been drawn here by something else – a whim, perhaps, as he had felt an inexplicable urge to venture here. That whim had led him, bizarrely, to reuniting with his brother, whom he had not seen in four long years and who had, for whatever reason, wandered into Eiyu Academy himself. Thus, Mika had contented himself, for the nonce, to remain in the school.

And so here he was, watching as the face of his teacher contorted into something like irritation. He had seemed to notice that Mika’s focus hadn’t been entirely on him, as he was rounding on him now.

“Sorry, could you repeat it?”

Grumbling to himself, Guren just wanted this to be over with-- or at least a little more interesting. He really didn’t want to be with this guy. Then again, he never wanted to be with anyone. Why did he choose this school of all places? He figured it was something different, and a particular someone dragged him into this saying it’d be good for him. What a complete lie.

“...Take this.” he tossed an rather heavy object to Mika, not caring if it ends up hitting the kid’s face instead. He did hope he’d catch it though, but this kid did seem rather spacey.

“I want to see how long you can carry this.” of course, Guren had some sort of objective for this project. It might seem pointless now, but at least it was something a little challenging.

He attended. He looked at the door with a sigh and entered, kicking the door once he was done, picked a chair and slouched in it. He looked at the pathetic older male in front of him raising an eyebrow and shrugged.

“Here. This is what you get to do for me today. It’s a delivery, but not an ordinary one.” he started to walk out of the classroom, stopping next to the door and prompting Fushimi to follow.
