Personality: Friendly, curious, easygoing, introverted, obsessive over her interests, forgetful, emotionally distant. She loves to meet and befriend other gems, but also spends a lot of time in happy solitude.

Skills: She can project detailed 3-dimensional maps of everywhere she’s been. When combat is necessary, she can make several duplicates of herself. Her staff is used as a blunt weapon, but also enhances her magical abilities when activated.

Hobbies: Exploring, collecting, reading, and learning about the world around her. She spends her days traveling the universe just to see it all.

Skills: She was built with a superior sense of hearing, and has taught herself to identify people based solely off of the way they walk. She’s an excellent singer. Though she has little combat experience or training, she does know how to defend herself using staves.

Personality: Though seemingly demure, she’s blunt and crass in her dealings with others. In her newfound freedom, she’s become a very practical explorer. She enjoys experiencing the strange new worlds around her, and acts as Moss Agate’s impulse control and pillar of support. She’s always looking to improve herself and likes to learn hands-on.

Skills: She was created for gathering intelligence, stealth, and speed. She’s got less upper-body strength than your typical Quartz soldier, but can kick harder and run faster. She has a little-known affinity for manipulating stone.

Personality: A bit of a dreamer. She’s highly impulsive if left on her own, and a bit standoffish. Though she was a huge people pleaser in her younger years, she’s grown disillusioned over her life. She still finds herself wanting praise, however, and often falls back into old habits. She has a bloodthirsty streak in battle, however, and can be self-destructive.

AGATE by crowguts

GEM TYPE: Black Lace Agate on lower back

WEAPON: Warhammer; it can be thrown, used in melee, or the size can be changed for better use in ranged combat. She can adjust it on the fly without having to resummon it to fight most efficiently.

COMBAT STYLE: Relies more on agility, efficiency and adapting to enemy movements rather than brute force. 

ABILITIES: Very good at noticing minute details that most gems would miss, making her ideal for quality control for any and all machinery that leaves the homeworld. Other than that she’s pretty standard and kind of lame.

PERSONALITY: Quiet, reserved, and pretty apathetic to everything that happens around her. She’s a bit of a control freak and doesn’t get along well with most other gems because of how picky she is about practically everything, and her sense of humor (or lack thereof) tends to be turnoff enough for those she interacts with. Her unwillingness to speak unless spoken to makes her appear aloof and stuck-up to others, but she’s really not that terrible once it’s all said and done. 

HISTORY: Formerly an engineer under White Diamond, she ended up stuck on Earth after a Kindergarten inspection mission went south. Now she operates by her own rules, somewhat relieved that she doesn’t have to deal with the oppressive culture of Homeworld but not really caring enough to join the Crystal Gem efforts.

Gem Type: Rutile Hematite (Iron(iii)oxide and Titanium oxide crystals)

Weapon:Arms can transform into different shapes (RH prefers either dual blades or a large, spiked mace)

Gem Placement:RH's gem cluster was originally located parallel to their sacrum, but they reformed and moved it towards where their head would be to imitate their friend Cinnabar.

Description:

They were built for speed and designed as a scout/bodyguard for higher ranking gems in Homeworld landing parties. RH was grown as an experiment to create a new class of durable, quick, quartz-like soldiers(a hematite base would be injected with a Rutile scout shard, and then be allowed to grow to be part of the hematite ore as the gems were incubated). They were knowledge hungry, new-grown, and frankly quite happy to be part of landing missions as long as they got to see other planets. Over hundreds of years they began to feel guilty over Homeworld colonization practices after Cinnabar showed them what happen to the planets after the gems set the kindergartens to grow. RH joined their longtime friend,Cinnabar, in exile when they were convicted of fusing with them on an away mission.

Gem Type: Honey Citrine is a Quartz apparently, which is news to me! They were designed in the image of Lapis Lazuli. They just go by Citrine.
