This is my first piece for my junior thesis assignment. The theme is fairy tales, and I’m doing Snow White and the Seven Deadly Sins. It deals with the number seven and the connection between Snow White and her wicked stepmother. I’m going to do a portrait for each of the seven deadly sins, matching each one with a color of the rainbow and incorporating a symbolic element for that sin as well. This one is lust, represented by the color red. Clownfish have one dominant female fish in each community, and when that female dies, the largest male changes gender into a female.
