The Hyuga Showdown (Epilogue) - Part 2
After two long years, the Hyuga Showdown story, is finally complete.
Man, it's been quite the ride, and I had so much fun working on this project. But like many things in life, eventually, they have to come to an end, and you guys have no freaking clue, how satisfied I am. I know my writing is not perfect, but this project was all purely for me. For my inner peace.
For years on end, I was left with that one, significant itch to fill out holes, that were left behind in my soul, after realizing how flawed the overall story of Naruto really is, at the end of the day. A respectable effort, but good? Nah, if we are 100% honest with ourselves, detaching the nostalgia glasses from our foreheads: The story is mid.
And sadly, there is only so much one singular man can do. All I can do is rewrite, or doing my own AUs, just to make my stay more comfortable.
Hinata getting a proper, fully realized character arc, before Shippuden
A proper romance setup between her and Naruto, alongside Neji and Tenten
The Hyuga clan becoming more omnipresent within the confines of Kishi's own world
The real bad guys actually receiving proper karma for a change, instead of continuing like nothing ever happened
Tenten being made the MVP of a story, and even getting her own story arc, while helping out the Hyuga
Hiashi being more than just the "abusive, shitty parent" stereotype
And Naruto being allowed to also be wrong about his worldview, understanding that not every situation can be resolved by just including yourself in the conversation
And so many small things, that needed to be talked about, organically, as the story went on, all this, is right here, and I am pretty satisfied with myself.

And with that, I shall bid you guys farewell, on Naruto projects for the time-being. I have other things to work on, but I really enjoyed my time, and until then, it only bears repeating:
