Girls are getting big! And eggs!!!

Found some friends yesterday! Prairie rattler and a big bull snake!

Found my first snake friends yesterday. Snakes have been few and far between because of the polar vortexes late this year. Two prairie rattlers, an adult and a itty button-baby.

Re-planting the mourning gecko enclosure with some “faerie garden” plants, which turn out to be the same plants that are used for dart frog enclosures! Gave them a good wash under distilled water and planted them in. I’d like to get another small hanging gourd to plant something that trails or a small bromeliad in. Geckos are already loving it and busy claiming their new spots. Got a new LED light for the plants too, since the other light was making it too hot.

Gold dust day gecko eggs! I got them from a friend and I wanted to try my hand at incubating. They are sitting around 80-85F in a deli cup and I mist the sides of the cup every other night. I’m so happy to see some veins and tiny babies!

They gathered for crickets except for one who didn’t want any. I can’t wait until they are big

Mourning Geckos are in their new cage. I’ll eventually give it more plants but I have to order them.

Still hasn’t gotten a name. I’m thinking of naming him Cayde 6 or Nougat  

lots of moving today.

I’m just super angry that they are demonizing him and making the animal sound like it was helpless. 

Artyom is so special, he gets to eat on a silver platter while I spot clean his cage.

Got a bunch of new spider friends thanks to someone who I made friends with and let me share their booth!! I got two poecilotheria(ornata and striata), two straight horned baboons, a blue foot baboon, a cat faced orb weaver, a big grumpy old man tarantula, and two tiny centipedes. I love them. All gonna be rehoused into the same container type as the I. mira.
