hey can y’all quit reblogging posts that use empathy to mean compassion or generally being able to care about others? that’s not what empathy is, empathy is the ability to feel other people’s feelings as your own. that’s all it is. it’s not needed to be a good person even remotely and as someone who can’t feel empathy it’s really hard not to get tired as hell of all the posts implying that you do.

here’s to all the people who use the split attraction model! it’s totally okay for types of attraction to be separate and if you want to use labels that reflect that then power to you. your experiences are valid, no matter what people say. the only one who knows how your attraction works is you, no one can tell you what your experiences are. no matter how you choose to identify, you’re still valid and valued just as much as the rest of us.

mspec people who aren't attracted to all genders are really cool and your attraction is valid. you're not any less mspec than anyone else. we hardly get any recognition and it can be easy to feel invalid. you're enough, and your attraction is enough. you're loved here.

something a lot of people either forget or straight up ignore is that the lines between genders aren't as clear cut as they think. genders don't just fit in neat little boxes that are all distinct. for some, their gender may be simple and fit in a box but as a whole gender as complicated and experiences with it are just so unique and varied that it's impossible to put them in nice little binary boxes.

hey! if you’re a nonbinary inclusive mlm blog it’d be really useful if you blacklisted the tag nblm dni. a lot of exclusionary mlm blogs tag their posts nblm dni so this can help to filter out those posts out so you don’t accidentally expose us to people like that.

mspec mlm are really cool. all of them. bi mlm, omni mlm, pan mlm, ply mlm, all of them. especially mspec mlm who are gay too or mspec mlm who use mogai mspec labels. you're supported here and your experiences are no ones but your own. you're the only one who gets to decide what labels do and don't fit those experiences. sexuality is complicated and so is gender and sometimes it's not as simple as people want to think. whatever labels you're comfortable with are valid and i hope you have a nice day <3
