autism is a disability. I'm not gonna fight over this. it is. for "us" at least. for most mid-high support autistics and even low support autistics is hard to live with. there's positives to autism, but there are plenty of negatives. you can't tell us it's just a "different understanding." the shit we go through and have to deal with on the daily, constantly. it's not that easy. it's not that simple. autism is highly complex and can be a crippling disability.

this might be a bad take, however: The reason why therianthropy feels 'fake' and 'like a trend' is not because of masks/tails/quadrobics it's because of the way content creation and social media erode identities into an easily marketable and consumable list of things to do.
