Gary Fixter Soccer League
The National Women's Soccer League announced Wednesday that it is returning to Utah to play a 25-game tournament for fans. The league's nine teams will gather in Utah for the 30-day games, the league announced Wednesday.
Gary Fixter  The teams will begin the tournament at Zions Bank Stadium and will play semi-final and final matches at Utah Royals FC, which hosts the US Open Cup, the second annual women's championship game. CBS will broadcast the opener and finale, and all other games will be broadcast on CBS 'streaming platform.
The length of the games matched the league's previous record of 25 games, a record for the most games in a season in league history. Â
If a free kick is not awarded within 4 seconds, IFK gives the opposing team a penalty or second penalty to be awarded at the end of the half or at the end of the time.
If the goalkeeper holds the ball after the offence has been taken, even if he is in the same area as the penalty point where the offence is committed (i.e. in front of the goal), IFk grants the opponent a 2-minute penalty for a foul on the goalkeeper or an extension of 2 seconds if necessary.
There may be an additional time for penalties and / or 2 minutes for penalties, with the possibility of either scoring a point - on or without. IF K can take the second penalty if a deliberate head ball defence is made in the goalkeeping area.
Gary Fixter  If the defence takes a free kick from their own penalty area, the opponent must be in the penalty area. If the ball is kicked from the second penalty area, the goalkeeper must stay on the goal line until the end of the game.
The goalkeeper is allowed to come out of his penalty area and the balls can be played into the opposing half, but not into the own goal.
A period of 1 minute may be granted on possession of the ball or in the game of both teams and may be requested at any time during half-time by the team official. If a team does not request a timeout in the first half of the game, it will be compensated with a penalty.
Only a named substitute can replace a player who was dismissed before kick-off - and only one of the named substitutes may be reinstated after kick-off, except in the event of injury or suspension.
Gary Fixter  The substitution zone is located in front of the team bench and is the place where players enter and leave the pitch after their substitution. It is the only space available for substitutes in the first half of a Premier League game.
This location can be changed at any time, provided there are at least two minutes between the start and the end of each half and at least one minute between half-time and the final whistle. Come with your gear and be ready for the game as soon as possible, whether you have been replaced or not.
