Happy Holidays from Gary & Trudi There has been so much going on this year that it seems (to me) that it has been longer than it usually does. At the beginning of this year, we were still ordering our groceries for curbside pickup, wearing our protective suits (looking like minions) to all indoor errands including post office, voting, and doctor appointments… While Gary’s left hand is still healing from having carpal tunnel surgery (February), he has been using the time he cannot play guitar to write songs, and focus on his health. He is up to almost 8 miles of speed walking a day, and sparring or working on our (softer for hand repair) boxing bag for 12 to 24 rounds a day. He grew his hair out… rocked the “Frederick Douglas” look for a minute, then we bought a set of clippers and Trudi cut his hair herself. A friend gifted him some temp hair color, for fun, and he liked it so much we have just kept it purple… Trudi started the year happily creating and selling her artwork. She partnered with a company in Canada called “Le’ Galeriste” which turns art into wearable art, and now has a line of shirts, pants, dresses, and home goods. We enjoyed some time with our daughter and granddaughter in July, after everyone had been immunized and it was safe to visit. In August we got notice that we would need to move. We worked with a local realtor, Lori Maines, who helped us find the perfect new place in a short amount of time at a great price. We moved into our new home in October, and have been working on fixing the small things to make it awesome!
