335 Jolly is only 6.5 years old, & afaik we did not see her mating or definitively courting last year, though she did have a few good play sessions with her best bud 307
both of these facts mean we did not expect her to have cubs yet. much less THREE OF THEM
she is the youngest daughter of beloved 2019 fat bear champion 435 Holly, who we have not seen since 2023 & who we presume has passed away of old age
335 Jolly looks a lot like her mom; she was frequently called "holly's mini-me" as a cub. that's why her name & number are what they are
jolly also had an extra thick natal collar as a cub, just like one of her new cubs does
this means Jolly could end up with a mini-me of her own, which would seriously make me cry!!!
jolly was a goddamn menace as a cub, known for activities like "hop charging rangers as an injured 1.5 year old" & "stalking one of the rangers"
if these cubs are anything like she was i fear the family may put the 803 boys to shame with their Shenanigans
