As I keep walking deeper into the cursed library, I notice something odd. Not only are the halls becoming endless and stretching further, they're also becoming taller with several old and wooden ladders lining their tall shelves. Beginning to step foot upon one of the ladders, it shook under my weight and let out a deep groan. Much to my surprise, down the hall, a loud shriek occurred and I could hear rumbling coming my way. I managed to shift my weight and leap from the ladder before bolting further into the maze. All twists and turns, lefts, rights, now a flight of stairs. Was I in the library anymore or was I trapped in an endless purgatory? The maze of books and shelving began to warp around me and revealed two pathways, being similar to that of a fork in the road. I fathomed the idea of fooling my chaser, but there was no point. Booking it torwards the right path, I kept my full sprint on, only to run flat into a black wall. Landing on my back from the impact, I landed on something blunt. The blunt object was revealed to be a book. "No freaking way!" I shouted as the shriek echoed out again. Tearing open the book and scattering my eyes across the pages, there was no doubt about it. This book was that of my life story, down to the finest detail. My first ever fish caught. My first day of school. My first day of everything in my life, was currently withheld in this book. Noticing a weird sound like a shert of metal wobbling, I peered up at the wall. It was morphing like the books around me were. It now looked like a mirror. There was a figure on the other side, it was a pitch black version of me. Spinning back, the rumbling and shrieking only grew louder and more demonic with each second. Gazing back at my shadows reflection, it looked up from the book and flipped to the back pointing as if it had something I needed to see. Slowly opening the book to the back page, I noticed that pages were just appearing in the book. Every single event of recent times was appearing. Every step, breath, and action was recorded, leading up to a conclusion that chilled me. "The beast caught me" was what the tainted pages spoke to me. As I read it to myself, I felt a dark and wrinkled hand grip my shoulder as if death itself was prepared to take my soul. Another large and clawed hand appeared in front of my face. It was as black as coal, so thin that it was almost like human bones were all that it was composed of. I began to quiver with fear as a dark and moist breath hit my neck, and a voice dryly whispered "No disruptions...in MY library" the raspy voice coyly whispered as the hand proceeded to drape my eyes and drag me into the eternal darkness.
