Negative Divinity

I’ve recently (Today) become intrigued with the image of the military in relation to women’s rights and LGBTQ equality. I was told by several students in my class that they didn’t want to join due to their concerns about assault. I was surprised and mortified by this information and was wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me about their concerns in regards to the military either in a reply to this post or in a message. I would like to gather information about this topic in the eyes of the public or from current military members in the hopes of creating an event or group in my location, to combat the negative ideas surrounding the military and what I could possibly do to help. I would like to talk with groups in my area that promote the rights of all people to help create an atmosphere and outlet for positive change. please please please take the time to answer this, I am incredibly motivated to build a better world with understanding and the personal experiences and ideas of others in anyway I can. I would never use your names or personal information while presenting any information to others in my attempt to present the opinions you share, and I encourage you to be anonymous if it makes you more comfortable. I'm also willing to talk to anyone who wants to chat, I know probably no one reading this knows me, so please if nothing else, we can talk about anything you need to vent or say to someone who will listen. Sometimes talking to a stranger is easier than someone you know. I can't promise to give you any philosophical answers, but I'm willing to listen. I only wish to get a general idea of how to promote equality in all aspects and how I could show it in a military setting. thank you for your time and answers!
