Otomedachi Life: Living the Dream Part 3
So here's part 3
Things that has happened:
Teuta, Takeru, Ashwin (their son), Kotone, and Lupin all live in the same house.
Ceres and Il also live together
I added Eriko Mukai to my island (I wanted to stick with just female MCs but even if I only used select male LIs, there was still a gender imbalance so I'm probably going to add a few female side characters)
Also Eriko's favorite food being white bread actually made me laugh pretty hard, especially because of the dramatic way the game went about it lmao.
Victor and Cardia had a daughter named Sunny (coincidentally that's one of my dog's name lmao.) I'm actually a little more happy with how the game picked her deisgn compared to Ashwin. Ashwin is basically just a copy of his dad with a smile. Sunny had more of a mix of both of her parents (her father's hair and eye color and nose shape, but with Cardia's eye shape and nose size.) I did change her hair style though (I thought the one the game chose for her looked kinda weird.) I also added in the glasses (because she inherited her father's "adjusts glasses" quirk).
Saint-Germain and Liliana had a mutual crush on one another, but then later on Saint-Germain got a crush on Kotone.
I swear, I did not have any control over Il being the angel in one of the last images. The game just chose him lmao.
This is going to be my last Otomedachi Life post for a while. I'm going to be going away for about a month and I can't bring my Switch, so yeah. I can post comments with my phone occasionally, but that's about it as far as posting from me goes.
Otomedachi Life: Living the Dream Part 2
What's been happening in my game:
I added Il, Ceres, and Mozu on my island (originally I was going to add Scarecrow but I went with Mozu instead. I'll definitely add Crow eventually though.)
Teuta and Takeru got married and they had a son named Ashwin (I let the game chose the gender, name, and personalities since I find that more fun.) Ashwin looks like a mini Takeru, has the greets smugly quirk like his dad, but has Teuta's personality (bubbly) and her standing shaking hips quirk.
Victor and Cardia did get married.
Van Helsing got a crush on Ceres. Meanwhile, Ceres has a crush on Impey.
Liliana at a point did get a crush on Takeru, but got over it after he married Teuta.
Otomedachi Life Part 1 (Mostly Takeru Sasazuka)
I posted this on the otomegames subreddit yesterday, and I decided to post it here too.
So yeah, here's what's been going on in my copy of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream so far.
So far, the characters living in my island are (some aren't shown in the above images)
Code: Realize: Cardia, Victor, Impey, Lupin, Van Helsing, Saint-Germain Bustafellows: Teuta Collar x Malice: Ichika Hoshino, Takeru Sasazuka Piofiore: Liliana Adornato Cafe Enchante: Kotone Awaki, Il Fado de Rie (added him shortly after I posted on Reddit)
Other things that happened in my game that I didn't record:
--Ichika fell in love with Impey at first sight, but then Saint-Germain helped her later and she fell in love with him at first sight, but then later on she decided she liked Impey more and later confessed to him. They're dating. --As the last image shows, Takeru got a crush on Teuta. --Cardia and Victor are a couple. At a point, Lupin got a crush on Cardia, I warned him she was with Victor and he shouldn't confess, but Lupin ignored me and confessed anyways, Cardia told Lupin she was already with Victor, and Lupin sulked for a while (I helped him feel better though.) --Takeru confessed his love for Teuta, but then Impey barged into Takeru's house to confess his love for Teuta (keep in mind he barely knew either Takeru or Teuta lol), Teuta chose Takeru and Impey just went on with his day afterwards.
I'm probably going to add Ceres from Virche: Evermore next.

From this point on, I'm going to stop eating unhealthy foods and stick to healthy foods. Also going to ween off caffeine.
I'm tired of stomach aches. A couple of weeks ago I actually did stick to eating relatively healthily for a few days and I actually did go a few days without a stomach ache. I honestly can't even remember the last time besides that where I went days without a stomach ache. It was amazing.
I also need to go back to cooking homemade meals. I was doing that regularly a while back, but I kinda stopped after going to college because I didn't have much time. But most ready-made foods are either unhealthy, upset my stomach, or they're too expensive. I'll buy the already chopped vegetables/fruits/foods and use those to help make cooking less time consuming. My stomach (and overall mental health honestly) was much better back when I was making meals.
Also going to exercise more. That helps me a lot too.

This is a fucking great book but the cover makes it impossible to carry around in public
It's by a cis woman sociologist who did a lot of work with teen boys and was surprised to find that the phenomenon of getting called gay has nothing to do with your sexuality and everything to do with policing gender
Like its interesting because like as a trans woman, YEAH. LITERALLY ALL OF "MALE SOCIALIZATION" IS A RIGIDLY ENFORCED, EXTREMELY ARBITRARY AND VIOLENT SET OF RULES MEANT TO BEAT YOU INTO THE SHAPE OF THIS HORRIBLE THING CALLED A MAN, WHO KILLS HIS HUMANITY FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THE POWER THAT COMES WITH MALENESS!
But like, cis men don't fess up to this bc they don't want to admit how the sausage is made, how their empowerment is a result of getting the fairy mercilessly beat out of them and willingly participating in beating it out of their peers. And cis women and tme trans ppl just don't recognize this shit.

I say I policed my gender, but it was more of a team effort than anything. The last time I got actively called out was when I was I twelve, and I got my books knocked out of my hands in 7th grade for carrying them like "a girl" (holding them in both hands, close to my chest, rather than gripped all manishly in one hand down by my side). I still got picked on, in high school, but it was never for anything overt. I guess I still had traces of "the girl" in me that I just couldn't exorcise. But I avoided more bloody noses by cutting the more obvious bits of my heart out, and burning them on the altar of survival.
Masculinity is an iron maiden. The spikes constantly dig into your flesh. Every little movement makes the pain worse, every breath is done with precision and fear. And escape would be excruciatingly painful. And you’re not even completely sure if escaping would be a good idea. Because the iron maiden is also a suit of armor. Nothing from outside of it can harm you, any external threats have to get through several inches of solid metal before they can get to you. Nothing outside of it can see you, no one will ever see your sweat and blood and tears and judge you for it. And you do not know if your wounds would ever heal, or if you would continue to look at the mirror and see a broken boy with pinpoints across his skin. And you do not know what it is like outside of the iron maiden. It could be worse. It could be more painful, more dangerous, less free. Or it could be better. You just don’t know. But one fear eclipses all the other hang ups: you are scared that if you ever did escape, the world outside wouldn’t accept you. They would see your scared flesh and know exactly where you came from. And they’ll push you back in, reopening all of your wounds. So a lot of people never even try. Instead they just hold as still as possible, waiting it out until they get fed up or bleed out.
