Yes, it was unfortunate that Riddle was paired with Ruggie. He would have protested too, but, Riddle knew there’d be no point in putting any effort towards complaining. Not only would he look bad, it’d be futile. He gave Ruggie a look, eyebrows slightly raised before sighing. “Yes, we can suck it up.” It was clear that Riddle was in a bad mood, however. He hadn’t forgotten Ruggie’s attempt at tripping him up and hurting Trey in the process. If there was anyone to keep a grudge, it was Riddle Rosehearts. “But there’s no point in complaining. Let’s just hope you don’t hold me back.” Riddle had been paired with all sorts of people, Ruggie wasn’t the worst he could be paired with. Still, the dorm head made his anger clear in his expression. zones out really often but despite that can usually pick up on what’s being said to him, usually getting most of the important words said to him stuck in his brain. it’s why he seems like an airhead but he actually remembers a lot of what people say, like the octavinelle rules

floyd has a very specific way of saying things because it feels right to say things like that. they’re quirks but also just that they genuinely feel good to say like that and makes him feel very :) because it’s just nice. he has a tendency to fixate on some words too because they’re extra nice to say which is why “squeeze” is essentially a catchphrase for him because the way it’s pronounced is so fun
