Since it was such a joy last year, I’ve decided to do another Secret Santa event for the Animal Crossing Community! Here’s how everything will work:

All through November I’ll be collecting URLs from crossers who wish to participate. I will begin to randomly assign URLs to everyone as the end of November nears. The deadline to sign-up for the Secret Santa is November 27th. Again, it is November 27th. This is to ensure that I have enough time to pair each and every person!

Now, I know some of you have your anonymous messaging turned off, however, if you wish to participate in this event it must be turned on. If not, then it’s not a secret!

Here is where you take your Secret Santa Oath. Please repeat after me: I’m just kidding! c; These are the rules.

As a Secret Santa it is your mission to brighten the day of your partner! You never know if that person needs a little (or a lot) of sunshine that day and if they don’t, then you made their day even better! Remember that all messages should be anonymous. It would be great and extremely helpful if you would sign your message with: Your Secret Santa or something like that. This is so your partner knows that it’s you. Please contact your partner at least once a day.

Keep in mind that this event is for the cheerful celebrations of the upcoming holidays! We all expect the best from everyone. Rude and insensitive comments are not tolerated. Please stick to the URL assigned to you and do not pose as someone else’s. This will help minimize any false accusations if something out of the ordinary happens.

IMPORTANT: All Secret Santas should reveal themselves by the 25th (or 26th) of December. 

Here is a fun idea for you and your Secret Santa after the reveal:

Share your friend codes and plan to have a small (or large) Holiday Exchange. This is when you would give each other something you collected over the month. For example, money, clothes, furniture, etc. Remember that most crossers have a wishlist *wink wink* If  you can’t afford something or don’t have a way of getting what the other person wanted, don’t worry! It’s not the size that matters, it’s the thought behind it.
