-danny and carmilla reccomending books to each other because they’re both huge Lit Nerds™

-danny listening to carmilla’s philosophy theories and playing the devil’s advocate for her so she’ll continuously reassess her ideas

-carmilla taking danny food and red bull on the nights she has to cram for things or she has to stay up late planning lessons

-carmilla texting danny “i spot a cute girl do you want me to get her number for you” far, far too often

-sharing a cup of blood, which perry finds horribly unsanitary, to which both danny and carmilla reply “vampires don’t get sick”

-danny helping laura wake carmilla up when she’s sleeping a day away

-movie nights where they choose the cheesiest movie possible and make fun of it the whole time

insists that they are an awesome dancer even though they’re terrible

likes to watch reality tv

Carmilla, mostly to make snarky comments on how stupid it is. 

refuses to wear pants when they’re home alone

Carmilla. 

is the jealous / protective one

Danny is protective, but Carmilla will actively threaten women that are talking to Danny too long. 

goes all out on the holidays

Danny, and no matter how hard she tries Carmilla will not get into it–with one notable exception. Carmilla loves mistletoe for obvious reasons. 

cries over books

Danny unabashedly weeps over them. Carmilla is much more stoic but occasionally Danny will notice a tear escape when Carmilla is engrossed in one of her books. 

is terrible with kids

Carmilla. She will hold a baby at arm’s length and be like ‘why is this tiny human crying Danny MAKE IT STOP’ 

(although, Carmilla can be great with kids when she wants to be, she just doesn’t like them so she doesn’t want to put in the effort)

drinks too much caffeine

Danny, for studying purposes. Red Bull is her go to. 

could sleep for twenty-four hours straight

Carmilla, of course. 

never wears matching socks

Danny always mismatches them she’s in a hurry in the morning okay? 

punches a tree when they’re angry

Danny punches the tree, breaks her hand, and Carmilla calls her an idiot in public but totally fusses over her when they’re alone.

gets scared by the toaster

Carmilla, in a startled cat sort of way.
