Big Black Delta - It’s Ok

The best indie artist out there comes back with a great new track, and a black cat! I am sorry, but I like him so much that I have no words to describe his last single. I love it and I know that I am going to be playing this at least 10 times per day.

For those that doesn’t know Big Black Delta, this is the music project by Los Angeles singer-songwriter, Jonathan Bates, previous vocalist of the indie band Mellowdrone. An artist that is totally focused on music and doesn’t care too much about the music industry. He creates music, collaborate with many other projects and support new bands too.

Things have not been easy for Bates in the last 2 years, but we are glad that he is back and we wish him all the best with his new release and personal life. Big Black Delta’s forthcoming album ’Tragame Tierra’ (Spanish expression to say “I want to die” after an embarrasing situation) is due out in January 2016. Preorder it here

We’re quite taken with “Pleased to Meet You” artist Big Black Delta’s blend of romanticism and ear-shattering electronics. Of course, leadman Jonathan Bates (who live is joined by not one, but two drummers) also has a softer side—as evidenced by this mixtape he sent over to premiere Under the Radar. Judging by the clouds outside our office window, today could be a perfect time to take a listen.
