This article is important and relevant. Please please take care of your bodies. I had a year of physical therapy for tendinitis and tennis elbow, both of which were injuries that caused me to give up my job at the time as well as numerous hobbies I loved like crochetting. It’s injury that I will probably have to deal with for the rest of my life considering my career is scientific illustration. So let me just get up on my little soapbox here for a second.

WHEN WORKING: 30-45 minutes at a time with 5 minute breaks to stretch in between and check up on your posture. Of course more rapid breaks is even better. Taking a break can seem like a hindrance but ultimately it’s better for you long term. Ice is nice, only 20 minutes at a time though or else you can cause injury.

Here’s some exercises for fine motor activity (such as gaming)

Biofreeze is the brand of a joint (etc) soothing/cooling gel but you can only get it online as far as I know so GO GET THIS SHIT called Perform from your local Walmarts near the Icyhot and stuff. IT’S AMAZINGLY GOOD FEELING.
