"The conspiracy theorists were right after all--" QAnon shot up a random pizza shop, claimed a furniture company trafficked children, thought JFK Jr. was secretly alive and would return to keep Trump in office after 2020, and thought Biden's inauguration was a ruse set up by Trump so he could lead "the storm" and arrest a bunch of Democrats for being part of a murderous satanic cult. They had a mythic version of "the Epstein files" which weren't real intel but like, videos of Hillary Clinton killing babies, and a blackmail burn book full of Democrats and the crimes they supposedly committed. Meanwhile, no blackmail list has been produced, probably because Epstein knew if he ever exposed one rapist, his own crimes would be uncovered. People are being implicated in ordinary email chains that he clearly thought would stay private, not a secret crime list.
More importantly, it has never been a secret that Trump is a rapist. The infamous “pussy tape” was released right before the 2016 election. He won the Electoral College anyway. He had over two dozen accusations against him before that. He was found liable for sexual assault against E. Jean Carroll by a court before the 2024 election. More voters chose him over a woman anyway. So many people were fine with all of the rape, but are acting like this is all brand new. You might say this is different because people care more about teens than adult women, but it’s not new information that he went after them, either. Former Teen Miss USA contestants told the press he'd walk into their dressing room, and a Jane Doe accused Trump of raping her at 13 at one of Epstein’s parties. She withdrew the lawsuit out of fear. This was 2016. The media treated Hillary’s emails as a bigger scandal instead
The core truth was always there, but instead of taking violence against women and girls seriously, people wanted to punish women for seeking positions of power in 2016 and 2024, and create fan fiction of the Epstein files that would expose the names of their enemies to distract from their support for the Rapist in Chief. You never needed conspiracy theories to believe Trump was a rapist, you only needed to believe women. But liberal women got mocked for being Cringe and wearing pink pussy hats to protest the election of a proud predator.
