"Yeah, but… Still…!" Okay, he’d be gone eventually, he could live with that. But no Pokemon battles!? That just didn’t sound okay. Still, his curiosity was piqued. "…Exploration guilds? What’re those?"

"Teehee, exploration guilds are... well, they're groups of Pokemon that explore! You learn all about Mystery Dungeons, and become stronger by travelling with your team mates! I've never been in one myself, but a friend of mine strongly recommends the experience!"

"You mean… There’s no Pokemon battles where you’re from???" Ash’s mouth hung agape, his spirits thoroughly deflated. Sure, it was a few hundred years away, but… That sounded terrible!

"Teehee, you needn't worry! That future is a long way off, and you probably won't be around to see it!" Probably not the most comforting thing to say, but she tried, "There are plenty other fun things to do, instead. I hear that Exploration Guilds are entertaining places!"

"I just can’t believe you’ve never heard of it before!"

"I'm not normally this uninformed-- this wasn't quite the time period that I was aiming for. I was aiming for a couple of hundred years further in the future-- time have changed quite a lot in that time!"

"It really is fun!" Pikachu added in. "Battling against tough opponents is a real thrill. Especially when good trainers are calling the shots!"

"...I understand," She still didn't, entirely, but she understood enough. This was a different time, and for them she supposed they couldn't even imagine a future where they would actually have to fight for their very survival, "I wouldn't enjoy such a sport, but I know many Pokemon who would, teehee~!"

"Never heard of ‘em. Usually trainers get into battles against other Pokemon Trainers, so they can have fun and compete against each other!" The concept sounded simple enough, right? Still, it was hard not to wonder what a ‘mystery dungeon’ was.

This one had to come from some faraway place - or even so far back in the past that they didn’t exist, maybe? Celebi did jump through time a lot, after all. “Yeah… It’s a person who catches Pokemon and battles alongside them. Pikachu, here, was the first Pokemon I ever got!” Ash gestured to the rodent upon his shoulder, who seemed content to sit at his perch.

      “Famous, huh? Well…sorry I haven’t heard of you. But where I’m from, Pokemon don’t usually talk. There’s a few that use telepathy but it’s really rare.                                                ——So…where am I anyways?”

"I suppose I may not be so famous with humans-- That is surprising. I have never heard of a place like that! How ever do you communicate with each other?"                                    --- --- Why, this is Twilight Forest!"

That being said, Celebi doesn't particularly want the Leafeon to go off in search of the Guild right now. It's been a while since she's had company, and even longer since she's met anyone new.

"Pika Pika~!" The rodent on his shoulder chimed in agreement.
