Finally getting around to watching the Smoscars
Things I found enjoyable bc no one asked; 20 points for 20 years:
1. The entire lack of Spencer and Amanda unfortunately bummed me out so bad I wish they could've waited just a little while longer so everyone could be present lol but Peter as Amanda was golden....but I mean Spencer is literally the director of smosh games I fear he should have been present
2. Ian in the rumpled suit should NOT be as hot as it is...but I admit shamelessly that it was
3. The uprising of long hair within the male actors is something I am so incredibly here for (cough damien cough)
4. Trevor's accent was wonderful and I need it to resurface again someday
5. It's so cute that they all got awards and it wasn't just balanced for one or two people to win
6. "Best Pitch for Best Prank - Shayne; pitching Olivia winning Best Prank over Arasha"
7. The captions slowly being more and more wrong as the video continues
8. People gotta chill on the Noah hate I love him he's so cutie
9. THE PERSONALISED TROPHIES???
10. The awful continuity of editing is so funny lmao why is shayne clean faced and then full beard and then clean again or ian going between disheveled and normal
11. Keith's thank you message actually made me so emotional lowkey like...omg guys they could still be here in another 20 years and I was there for that? And I watched that grow? I watched these people come and go and grow and change and become new people?
12. Chanse's whole outfit was hot and very gender
13. The In Memoriam bit was actually so rude I was so sad
14. Shocked more Reddit moments didn't appear on the Julia Child award for Shayne but I also adore the Mater bit
15. I'm so glad Mac stuck with Smosh I found him YEARS AGO and his humor is so elevated when he's with Smosh

17. I saw so so many good edit nominees I fear I would always be slightly disappointed but also I am so happy for the editor that won!! Idk I think there should've been a larger segment for edits lol so many had so much potential
18. I love Arasha. That's all.
19. I'm so glad Board AF got recognition since the Games channel has become purely board games with the occasional video game. Remember when it was video games and they only had a series for board games? I love the progression of the channel, but it's nice that they recognise the origins of what it is now.
20. Seeing Lasercorn be there was so affirming like oh you guys really aren't who Defy tried to turn you into. This is really a thing that can be bigger than just money and views. This thing is really something that dozens of people have been brought together because of. Ian and Anthony didn't let the company drown. Fuck, IAN HECOX DIDNT LET THE COMPANY DROWN. He carried us all through Defy and every evil thing that tried to make Smosh into something it wasn't. He did that. Twenty full years of fighting and here we are. You did it, Ian. That's beautiful.
