I’m still a big crafts enjoyer

This one kept giving me trouble back when I started it, so I kind of dropped it for several months. But it’s done now!

“Don’t Cry” from the dnp beats Spooky Week album were part of my inspiration alongside Silos by Starset (the lyrics on the drawing are from that song. Said song also contains the line “You left a hole where a heart had been”, so it felt very fitting lol)

Anyway. I absolutely love drawing these sorts of complicated, melancholic expressions, and dnpc just happened to give me the perfect muse I think. In fact, after the initial sketch, the face was the first thing I rendered in September (and then I did… practically everything else in the last week or so)

But! 11 hours of work later, and I’m quite pleased with how it came out— especially with the large gap between starting it and finishing it.
