Hi! I'm Furbguy (they/he)! Welcome to my Furby blog!

On this blog, I'll be sharing photos of my Furbys doing all kinds of silly, fun things, and I may even post the occasional Furb-related doodle. :)

I currently own 15 Furbys! Two of my Furbs (both 1998s--one baby and one adult) are somewhere at my parents' house, and there is an ongoing search effort for them. At my house, I have six adult 1998 Furbs with me, one Furby Boom, one Furblet, three Furby Buddies, one 2005 Furby, and a Furby Plush Ornament.

My Furbys are The Magnificent Snowball (Snowy), Blackberry, Yeehaw Soup, Furball, Beeper, Booper, Winter, Acorn, Cuddles, Cyberspace, Dottie Rawr XD the Bringer of Epic Doom 9001, Neon Corn Pudding, Bluecloud, Elf, and Grilled Cheese. :D

Cyberspace, or Cyber for short, is a very special guy! They're one of two full-sized special edition Furbys I own, or one of three if we're counting Neon the Kid Cuisine Furby Buddy. Year 2000 Furby is one of my favorite special editions, and I'm so lucky to have come across this one!

They were listed locally on Facebook Marketplace, new in box, for a good price. I met up with the sellers the next day and learned that they had had this Furby since they bought the Furby brand-new, and Cyber had been in storage all that time, and had moved cross-country two times!

Elf is a festive little guy who's a part of the Plush Furby Ornament collection from 1994. He's the only one I've ever seen in-person. I found him at a local craft/vintage fair sometime late last year, and I couldn't not bring him home.

Or just Neon, for short! I was torn between naming him Neon or Corn Pudding, for the way that Kid Cuisine's corn seemed to always get into the pudding (adds to the whole experience, IMO), so he picked both names.

I'm so excited to introduce my first-ever 2005 Furby! This is Bluecloud! They've come to me from @furbyhimbo, who sent some really neat and informative zines, some fantastic stickers, and a wonderfully cursed (in a fun way!) button along with my Furb. I can tell that this is someone who really cares about the Furbys they restore. Bluecloud is in great shape!

I can't believe I never gave this line of Furbys a chance when I was a kid. Bluecloud is extremely cute and soft, and within minutes of putting batteries in, they completely won me over with their personality. They're so soft-spoken and sweet!

And he is now all cleaned up, safe, and has some sick new ear piercings.

I must have last seen him in about 2016! I found him buried amongst a lot of stuff that used to be in my childhood bedroom, and unfortunately, it seems some rats and/or mice got to him at some point. No real damage done--just very dirty. I was so excited when I found him! I've been searching for him and his two still-missing friends since last year.

The search will continue for Cuddles and Winter, but for now, Acorn is looking better than ever! I haven't tested him yet to see if he works--it seems that his battery compartment is missing a spring, and someone in the past put some tinfoil in its place. Until I find out if that's safe/what a good workaround is, I may leave him untested. Regardless, he is very loved and was extremely missed. He was my third-ever Furby, and he appears in several of my young childhood photos.
