Counting On ended with Justin's courtship announcement. Since then we've had, Kendra and Joe announcing and having #3, Joy and Austin having #2, Jinger and Jeremy having #2, Justin and Claire announcing an engagement and Jessa and Ben announcing #4. TLC's really trying to act like they don't have enough content.

I wonder why TLC is always so behind, they’re like that with Sister Wives too. Maybe because they’re filming 300 reality tv shows at any given time and run low on crew members

I started this blog after finding a series of fundie books at Savers, like a 1993 Edition of the IBLP Workbook that conference attendees would fill out, Girl Defined, I Kissed Dating Goodbye, and Intended for Pleasure. I was like "finally! I can start a fundie blog and add something unique and cool to the community!" And then I made 3 posts that got like maybe 4 notes, got lazy, and here we are 3 years later... Devolved into me ranting into the abyss. Thanks to everyone for sticking around lol

I couldn't even tell you why I started my fundie blog. Like, I remember years ago sneak watching 19KAC back in like the Jill/Jessa courtship days but, I started this right after Jinger and Jeremy announced pregnancy #1.

Yes! When I first started my main, I would submit so many multi-part asks and refresh waiting for it to show up, feeling validated if it got a lot of notes or if one of the two fundie blogs that existed at the time reblogged it 😂 I took a break from tumblr in general when I graduated college, and when I came back EVERYONE had fundie blogs. I still lurked for another year or so lol

Anyway the fact that Garth Brooks has performed for every president from Jimmy Carter on except for Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump is so fucking funny like what a flex

The reason people act like this is because they are classist. A lot of people have to share rooms when they don’t have money to build an addition or move to a bigger home. And before someone says well don’t have more children if you can’t afford more rooms honestly I don’t want to hear it.

I shared a room with my sister when I was younger. Sharing your space is something Jessa is used to and doesn’t know anything different. She didn’t get her own room until she got married, and even then she still shares it with her husband. Sharing things is in the Duggar’s blood. I do agree that it’s making fun of her for being lower class/poor (well lower middle class, maybe not poor) and I do not like that. People are super bad with that with certain fundies, like the Rods. And it goes the other way with fundies who do have money/ are rich, like the girl defend family. These fundies have other things we can critic on that isn’t their class status/how poor or not poor they are. Some people just don’t have a lot money and it can take generations to break that poverty chain. Espeically when you have a dad like Jim Bob who keeps the family’s money to himself. 

I agree with all of these besides the one about Austin and Joy tbh.
