1/16/26 - Katie Bates shared via Instagram feed that she had experienced a pregnancy loss. For reasons that are still completely unclear*, less than 48 hours after this post her husband Travis shared via stories that he had been unfaithful in their marriage.

1/19/26 - Katie posts on her IG feed about Travis's confession. Nearing the end of this carousel of text pictures Katies like hey this is awkward AF but I do still have #ads I have to post.

1/20/26 - Katie posts an ad for corner store pharamacy CVS

2/26/26 - Katie posts a "pack with me" for an intensive therapy retreat. I believe the program was 6 days and Reddit sleuths figured out the likely retreat and we were all pleasantly surprised to learn it was secular.

3/17/26 - Vague reel collage from Katie about healing and other emotions. This is only notable because all other posts had been mostly #ad mixed in with family vacation content.

5/16/26 - Katie announces they are moving. The caption references that the year has been heavy and impactful with "a lot of hard conversations, a lot of therapy, a lot of praying". She mentions private hardships as well as what's been shared and acknowledges that the move might not make sense to onlookers. She adds "it's not about running or pretending a new place magically fixes everything...life doesn't work like that."

5/20/26-ish - Despite trying to tell people they weren't going to get it, people still felt the need to slide into Katie's DMs telling her moving is stupid. Katie reveals via stories that she's had a falling out with "90%" of her family due to her addressing something that happened "throughout childhood".

5/22/26 - Via another stories post Katie adds that the majority of her family wasn't supportive about something she felt she needed to be honest about in order to heal. She indicates the reactions have been different from different family members, ranging from distance/silence and avoidance to attempting to minimize Katie's feelings.

1. March 18th, 2026: Joseph Duggar is arrested on charges of child molestation by the Tontitown PD on behalf of the Bay County Sheriff's Office (Florida) for an incident that was reported to have happened with a 9 year old child in 2020. His mugshot is made public later that day/early the next day.

2. March 19th, 2026: it's released that Joseph has confessed to both detectives and the family of the victim that he is indeed guilty.

3. March 20th, 2026: it is reported by local news stations that there is a warrant for the arrest of Kendra Duggar who has been charged with 4 counts of second degree child endangerment and 4 counts of unlawful imprisonment by Washington County (Arkansas) law enforcement. Not long after, it's learned that Joseph Duggar has received identical charges and it is specfied that they are unrelated to his charges in Bay County (Florida). After the police show up at the Duggar compound to arrest her unsuccessfully, she turns herself in and spends less than 2 hours in custody before she's bonded out for $1,470.

Abbie and John Duggar welcomed their little girl last month in January of 2026.

June 26. The Clarks announce that Travis has been in nursing school. It is unclear how long he was attending before they posted about it.

Aug 13. Hailey says she wants her mom to have another baby, and Katie says "no." I take this to mean that they weren't actively trying at that moment.

Sep 10. Travis starts clinicals, and Katie surprises him with new shoes, a stethoscope, and treats.

Sep 15. Travis surprises Katie with a trip to London for her birthday.

Nov 13. Travis posts a "day in the life" that does not appear to feature Katie at all.

Dec 2. Travis posts his "honest thoughts" as a 24yo husband and dad. He says the move from NJ to TN was difficult for him, and he talks about the importance of being honest with yourself, even when you don't know the right words.

Dec 3. Travis surprises Katie with an anniversary celebration.

Dec 9. Katie does photography for Theodore Bates's birth.

Mid December. The Clarks host a Christmas party for his nursing class.

(Faces censored bc none of these people are public figures, and we don't know for sure who, if anyone, is the affair partner.)

Dec 18. The Clarks post a YT video featuring the Christmas party, as well as announcing that they are leaving YouTube, citing a lack of time.

The Christmas party video gets comments on IG from a couple of the women in attendance. I am trying to track down screenshots, but currently I only have hearsay. One woman comments on the video "I'm Remi's [the dog's] favorite." Travis replies with "I agree" and a heart emoji.

Again, I can't find primary sources here, so this is all speculation... but there is one woman in the reel who is featured a lot, and who is seen petting Remi. If the 06 in her handle is any indication, she is just 19.

Dates unknown. Katie learns she is pregnant. Take note of Travis's face.

Katie miscarries sometime after Christmas. (Props to the Redditor who looked at Carlin's nails to figure out roughly when this was.)

Katie and Travis go relatively silent on socials for the next few weeks. They appear to spend NYE apart. For a couple who used to film themselves almost as much as Carlin + Evan, this is a stark change.

Early January. Redditors notice that the comments on the party video have been deleted, and that Travis no longer follows their accounts. Speculation brews.

Jan 8. Katie makes a sponsored post that says it's "just me and them," referring to the kids. Travis is spotted in the video, but it's unclear when it was filmed.

Jan 16. Katie posts about her miscarriage. It is notable that her family only addresses her in their comments with condolences, and Katie writes in the singular--"I" and not "we."

Jan 17. Travis confesses publicly about his infidelity.

Jan 18. Shade is thrown.

Two of Travis's classmates vaguepost. (I am not on TikTok, so I won't be sleuthing there for more info. I am dependent on Redditors to do that.) Note that the second woman captioned her post with "#wasntme."

Lawson is clearly standing by Katie. He may be an arrogant oaf, but he seems like a good brother.

Bates family members are unfollowing Travis on IG. I am left wondering if Katie will be pressured to stay with him, or if the Bateses will change their tune about divorce and infidelity when it is one of their own daughters dishonored.

TL;DR. There is still so much we don't know... but it seems fishy AF that the Christmas party video got taken down and comments were deleted. It definitely seems like Travis strayed with someone from his nursing program, Katie found out, and they've been spending time apart.

If his affair partner is one of the girls from the Christmas party, holy smokes. That means he invited her into his house, introduced her to his wife! The audacity. The gall. The shamelessness.

If it isn't a girl from the party, then Travis was not only getting flirty with another woman, but also cheating with someone totally different. Which also sucks!

A boy for Jana and Stephen Wissmann.

On 25th September 2025, Zach and Whitney Bates uploaded a reel confirming their sixth baby to Threads, before also uploading it to Instagram. The couple are already parents to Bradley (10), Kaci (9), Khloe (5), Jadon (4) and Lily (2). Their non-firstborn, non-post-loss spacings range from 578 to 998 days, so this is one of their longer spacing gaps.

Timing of Pregnancy Announcement We don't know for definite. All Zach and Whitney have shared is that they are due 'Spring 2026'. The average of their three most recent pregnancy reveals is to announce on Day 83. This would mean a due date of 10th April. This works for a spring due date so I'll be using that until otherwise informed. (Their average overall is to announce on Day 67, which would mean an end-of-April due date. This is also a possibility.) A due date of 10th April would give a predicted birth date of 5th April, 964 days after Lily's arrival.

Early, Late or On Time? Very on time. Prior to this announcement, the spreadsheet was anticipating baby news from Zach and Whitney on 30th September. They announced only five days earlier than this. What a great track record the spreadsheet is having at the moment. Keep on being predictable, fundies!

Impact on the Data Not a huge amount - it was so close to the predicted 985 day spacing that not much has changed. The average spacing in the 30-35 age group, which Whitney is in, is 729 days. Whitney's sixth pregnancy is estimated to be 0.76 SDs slower than the average pregnancy in this age group. It's not anywhere near the slowest though, with far slower pacing by couples including Jill and Derick Dillard, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo and John and Abbie Duggar.
