OCTOBER 14, 2015, I turn on the radio only to find ample entertainment from presidential candidate Donald Trump while rallying in Richmond, Virginia

Not surprised Trump gave a shout out to UVA, while in Richmond, a couple of days ago: “…the University of Virginia, and great college -- that is great and right next to our property. We love them,” completely heedless of a close-by, VCU, one of the nation’s leading medical (#1 hospital in the region) and art school (#4 nationwide), including a nationwide #1 graduate advertising program. Not like we needed that shout out, anyways.

Nevertheless, he did pretty well flattering VA by briefing us on VA’s history and citing VA-born presidents, which sounded like he memorized a U.S. and VA History SOL study guide; including, “you have the hall of fame”, adding to an imaginary list of “why VA is the best state”. What “good” (as that seemed to be as descriptive as it will ever get to Trump explaining his presidential plans, along with “great” and “terrific”), is that statement to average VA residents?
