Things I Learned in 1st Year Uni
how to swear profusely
how to learn a course in 12 hours or less
how to barely pass a course
party hard
sleep is just a figment of your imagination
you can fit 3 people on a single bed
Sunday is the day of cram-time
labs are not fun
lab exams are even more useless
10% above class average is an excellent mark
you do not have to attend class to pass
podcasts will save your ass
pray to God that they bell curve everything
certain profs can’t teach shit
cushioned lecture hall seats and warm rooms put you to sleep
most TA’s don’t know what they’re doing
70% Exam? fail the exam, fail the course - nbd
you will not study for the last exam
alcohol is expensive
residence food will help your digestive tract work very efficiently (it sucks)
KEY LESSON: If you passed the course you’re doing well. Because some people don’t pass, and that’s when you know you’re in trouble.
