So I started watching running man recently and my friends were obsessing over Monday couple so at first I thought monday couple was jong kook and Ji hyo BC they were so adorable!!!! and then I realize they weren't :-'( and then I found out their ship name is spartace I became so happy and become a spartace trash :-) my friends say im delusional but WTV I find them rly cute and protective over each other :-) can you explain spartace in your own words?
Hello! Me too, actually. My friends were talking about the Monday Couple as the show’s main ship, too. At first, I thought MC was going to be my ship, but Jong Kook and Ji Hyo are just the ones who really stood out for me on Running Man. Well, a fan can get “delusional” if they think that their ship is “real”, meaning that they’re a couple in real life without the two people of their ship confirming it. I’m not really good with words, but Spartace is just a ship that will make you work and you’ll be glad you took the time. It’s because their “moments” are not handed out to you on a silver platter by the PDs (or even Spartace), and you have to look out for them because chances are, they’ll be doing their own thing in the background. I think I liked Spartace more because they would always argue, pick on each other, and challenge each other– something that the other ship doesn’t do. I love ships like that, to be honest. In short, they complement each other. I remember the earlier episodes of Running Man where Ji Hyo would always wish to be on Jong Kook’s team; not very vocal about it, though, until episode 20 where she really told everyone to put her in a team with Jong Kook. And even after the MC thing came out officially, Ji Hyo would always be picking on Jong Kook, talking about Jong Kook, always including Jong Kook’s name in the mix. I dunno, I just find that funny every time I watch the past episodes. Anyway, I think I’ve said this before, but those two seem to be interested in each other, but just won’t go for it. LOL. But I guess if they won’t, they’ll just be the strongest couple in Running Man history that’s rarely paired up because everyone’s scared of what they can do. (Because seriously, people are already scared of Jong Kook and Ji Hyo individually, what kind of horror would it be if they’re OFFICIALLY teamed up, right? I wish they’d be teamed up soon. *sigh*)
