Hey guys so I figured everyone is freaking out as much as I am so I thought I’d post a list of things that help me get through finals…

1. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! If you’re not in class or at work, you should probably be doing something school related. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll finish.

2. Take it one step at a time It can be very stressful when you have a lot to do, but try to focus on doing one thing at a time and before long you’ll have gotten somewhere. It’s also a good idea to do your work in the order that it’s due or how long it will take you to do it. 

3. Make reservations early  Make scanner/printer/studio/checkout reservations ahead of time so you don’t get screwed over when everyone else has already made them. 

4. Organize  Write down everything you have to do for each class and when it’s due. Write down as little or as much as you need to (I even had to write a list of everything I have to bring with me to go printing digitally/in the darkroom, scanning, shooting, etc. and when my reservations are).

5. Clean Being in a cluttered space will only stress you out more and you’ll be more susceptible to losing important things. I also find that cleaning helps me de-stress.

6. Relax You need to take some time to relax even if it’s just to smoke a cigarette it will keep you from going insane. It will all be over soon!
