'Man of the World' back in the sixties, man in his own world ever since? Whatever that means! Sorry for that, but I needed an opening. Eat my tits he was a stylish looking dude back in his day. Bit of a Bohémien thing going on, I appreciate that. Probably was looking for a Gypsy Woman. The mustache definitely was the icing on the facecake, so to speak. And perhaps a stabilising factor as well, 'cos flash forward one year and - mustacheless yet altogether more hairy - he's wandering around in a robe, with facial hair randomly placed all over the place, donating gittars and declared 'cookoo'. But let's not dwell on mental problems, as we all do too much any way, and let us commemorate the dark, adventurous mustache on the face of Peter Green. An inspiring person and the best British blues guitarist of all time, lest we forget.
