I go to Thailand for the first time in like 4 weeks and I literally cannot stop myself from scrolling endless videos on tiktok and meticulously researching where the best food is and how cheap the beer is and how long I'm gonna be on a plane for and the majestic wonder that is 7eleven......

It's the most likely reason I think, it seemed a bit too "neutral" for anything else, like Leyla's christening or whatever I could see him wearing something brighter for that, like blue or something but beige & brown seemed a bit more like it was for something quite serious...

Although I will never forgive ED for the unnecessary stress they put us all under last year! - I'm so pleased he survived it all, he's literally the only reason I watch at the moment.

Digital spyâs article about Charityâs storyline is just a prime example of how much of a mess this show is if you think a storyline like this can only raise awareness and be emotional if the character is popular, because I donât know about anybody else Iâd feel sad for anyone whether I liked the character or not popularity doesnât come into it, if you can watch a character you donât like get sexually assaulted and not feel bad then thatâs a problem.
And put aside theyâve already done an abuse storyline with her, but itâs not about awareness if it was theyâd be working with charities on the storyline like they usually do but their not itâs just a cheap way for Charity to look innocent when her lies are exposed and everyone else look bad if they say anything in regards to what sheâs done. This storyline would of worked best with someone who doesnât have many family/friends around, someone who hasnât actually been through something like this before so when they behave a certain way people wonât know why and be wondering whatâs wrong with them, where as The Dingles have had things like this happen so many times with members of their family now I donât believe none of them could spot the signs someoneâs hurt her and just believe her lie about post natal depression, same way theyâve had serial killers and still couldnât spot the red flags with John.
Articles like this make me so mad because Charity being chosen for this storyline is in no way being done to âraise awarenessâ.
They could have used Vanessa for this if they wanted to raise awareness, or even Manpreet. Someone close to Caitlin who would have never seen it coming.
This is all just an unneeded plot to redeem Charity in the worst way possible because they want us as an audience to forget everything she has done over the past year and be firmly on her side again.

Yeah that's true, it's incredibly rare for ED to take SA/R*pe cases to trial. They always get killed off by horses and shit, and now that Mrs. Brings People Back From The Dead is there, how long will it be til Charity is "haunted" by evil Dr Todd rising from the dead to cause more misery?

Yep weâre definitely not getting our Mackenzie crash out now and if we did theyâd only do it badly anyway and make Mack come off worse. Iâm just really not looking forward to the rest of this storyline now, theyâve completely ruined it for me.
Nah at this point Laura needs things thrown at her. This was a surrogacy storyline and now Charity is going to be SA'd. This is a despicable utterly unnecessary off ramp to take. The woman has no idea what she is doing. Why is no one stopping her?

Didnât laura say that the dingles have been dominating for a time now and it is time to shine on characters from other families then she proceeds to give the âserious storylinesâ to every dingle of age shape and form. Even Kammy is turning into honorary Dingle. I need this woman and her brain gone.

She wants to focus on other families, yet Cainâs cancer is spreading, Charityâs getting assaulted and their two big storylines đ
She also said Charity & Mack were the big love story for her so what will likely happen is Charity & Mack will divorce, Mack will probably go off on some vigilante stuff and kill Dr Todd (guyâs been in the show nearly six years and hasnât killed/accidentally killed or attempted to kill anyone yet - they gotta fix that) and because heâs not a Dingle heâll end off in prison for 16 years or something. **

I hate to break it to you but the voting already closed and she hasnât done enough to actually get shortlisted, sheâs up against several based topics that have had the audience talking and praising the storylines, Emma hasnât.. Do I believe sheâll be good? Yes, she can do these storylines well but out of everyone sheâs up against and the fact the voting has already closed she has no chanceâŚ
Or they are dragging the story out long enough that sheâs gonna win it next yearâŚ
I'm really dreading this Charity storyline because they keep putting her through similar stuff and idk if I want to make myself watch it.
I donât think Iâll be watching it either anon. I canât see any reason or justification as to why theyâve decided to take this route with the storyline. Charity being blackmailed was more than enough. I think itâs just a way to make the audience sympathise with her rather than have her face the consequences of what sheâs done to Sarah & Mack.
