Haven't been paying much attention to the show because of obvious reasons even though I love mack as well but just now watched today's full ep and I have to say rn despite everyone having ohhh poor me sl mack's the only one having the worst of it all. That to say since last year he's not been having good time but rn poor guy can't even get properly mad at charity or even todd, can't/doesn't wanna split up with charity because he loves her and she supposedly loves him too and says that the baby was a mistake, there's nothing he can do to avenge his wife, can't tell anyone about it either (not sure whether he's sharing any of this with Aaron or not since their friendship is offscreen nowadays) on top of all the trauma john caused him last year. Damn when laura shaw says she likes mack and charity I see this is what she means. And honestly I love the complexity they're giving mack rn even though the route they took this sl isn't the best because without SA mack would've broken up with her immediately but now he gets to have more tangible feelings.
Agreed Anon! Mack has had such a tough year he deserves a fresh start. I don’t mean away from The village but a refresh of his character so he’s not all about the Dingles and their dramas. I love that they are giving Lawrence more to do and giving him some really good scenes and I’m hoping the days of him being Charity’s yes man are truly over. I’m still so angry at ED though for the way they’ve taken this storyline because it’s now all became about Charity being a victim rather than facing up to the consequences of what she’s done. - everyone is going to feel like they can’t hate her and can’t be angry at her.
The way things are going with the show right now it looks like they are lining Kev up to be Mack’s new bestie so Mack will probably end off telling him everything at some point. - his and Aaron’s friendship seems to have been forgotten now the “threat” of John has gone and Robert is back.
Interested to see how Ross finds out that Mack knows, and I hope whatever happens in this showdown that Mack comes out on top. Ross is well overdue a smack in the mouth! 😂
