2. Describe your character from the perspective of someone who has never seen them before.

3. Write a letter from your character to another. It can be to their lover, their best friend, their parents or even their enemy.

4. Write an interview of your character from a journalist’s perspective. Describe the setting, the questions asked and your character’s reaction to them.

5. Write an entry from your character’s journal.

6. Write your character’s favourite recipe, as if they’re copying it down to give it to a friend. Add any notes or tips they use to make the dish to their liking.

7. Write a list of things your character keeps in their pockets.

8. Describe your character’s hands. Are they calloused or smooth? Scarred? Are their fingers short and stubby or long and slender? Are their nails bitten?

9. Write a conversation in a scripted format. No prose, just dialogue.

10. Describe the appearance of your character’s boggart.

I haven’t been around in a while, and I’ve been back to video editing lately (and hoping my YT isn’t auto-posting to my blog when I upload). Thought it was a good time for a throwback.

Wish I knew then what I know now when I was making this video. I made the effects with a lot of chroma keying, fading, and some masking layers, including that overlay that sort of looks like rain. It’s not generated. It’s just a closeup loop of a part of a scene I thought was cool. Rendering that was AWFUL though on my crappy old machine (which didn’t even support half the plugins in Vegas). Literally cannot believe it’s been almost three years since then!

Also, I’m currently writing an untitled, not-quite PWP fic for our favorite female protagonists. It’s been unfinished for months. Wish me luck!
