Dollarama: The Best & Worst Store on Earth

Dollarama is the #1 dollar store in Canada. It is the the go-to source for things like kitchen utensils, canned food, fake ivy, wedding bubbles, and items for theme parties. It is pronounced “dolla-RAM-uh,” not “dollar-OMMA” like it would be in the US. A small controversy erupted when they announced they were changing the prices of some of their items to $1.25 from $1, but it was quickly forgotten. Dollarama was also the name of a band that played exclusively on dollar store items.
