I know we've been sharing usernames on Reddit, but I have friends using this idea for something else, so I'm going to steal it.
If you want to find other people from r/CuratedTumblr, look at the notes of this post. If you want other people from r/CuratedTumblr to find you, like, comment, or reblog, so you'll be visible in the notes.

Edit: It's been a few weeks, so here's what I've learned:
First off: Do whatever's easiest! That said, here's the possibilities and how I've seen them work.
Follow this account: Only I will be able to see this. I'll follow back with my main account, but people coming to this post won't see it. Great option for lurkers. Also, having it in your followed tumblrs functions like a bookmark. You'll also see anything I add to this account.
Reply to this post: People coming to this post will be able to mouse over your username and then click "follow" on a hover menu. Awesome, but liking it is more convenient for people looking for people to follow.
